they are great. i've been watching them individually for quite awhile and it's so good to have such excellent talent replacing our beloved greats as they age and take their leave. i only hope they can stay with bluegrass and carry on the tradition. bluegrass would be in good hands.
Jesus Christ ever bluegrass video I've seen today has had someone in the comments whining that it's too fast. I can hear the tune perfectly fine, so there's no problem there. Maybe go listen to BB King or smooth jazz, I don't this kind of music is for you.
That's called an opinion. This tune has been recorded so many different ways, it has to have a twist in order to stand out. This is certainly a crew that can stay on the beat when playing it that fast. Give it a shot if you dare.
Noams arrangement of this is unbelievably cool
Banjo is reborn yet again...Noam is brilliant...Jack Baker NYC
Best version I've heard of wheel hoss.
Noam Pikelny...absolute pro
Better yet, this is fuckin amazing
Luke Bulla - Fiddle
Jesse Cobb - Mandolin
Brian Sutton - Guitar
Barry Bales - Bass
Noam Pikelny - Banjo
Extremely Helpful = Thank You...
Noam is amazing! What a sweet sound! After the "administrative faster chorus" of Sutton, Noam "Punch" Pikelny kicked asses!
Wow, my fingers got tires just watching this. Totally great stuff.
Taking no prisoners at this tempo!
Best Wheel Hoss on RUclips
Nice to see Sutton playing that Bourgois again.

Oh WOW!!!
What Yngwie Malmsteen would sound like if he had been born in West Virginia.
I can't even tap my foot that fast.. maybe I'll trade in my Martin for a kazoo..
I feel your pain brother. My jaw is on the floor.
Do it.
I can tap at any tempo...as long as I'm allowed to choose subdivision.
Well, since you brought it up... I’ve got a kazoo and I might be willing to part with it.
Note worthy.
Fiddle player looks like Vassar Clements!!!!
Yep. The next Bela Fleck is here. Then some.

They are all really brilliant players I agree, but this is so fast that you can't hear the tune at all.
