took me tens yrs to craft a comment for this performance and i finally nailed it.stay tuned you won't wanna miss this, just gonna run and take a quick leak stick around i ass sure you you will not be disappointed.....
@idriveabucket they are DEFINITELY worth the trip! I just saw them for the first time last night and it was the best show I have ever gone too!!! SOOOOOO FUNNY!
Ain't no Cleverlys here today (sad violin) I've got my guitar, I want to play (sad guitar) I'm just sitting here watching at home, and I don't want to riff off alone, ain't no Cleverlys come my way. When the Cleverlys come, they run and hide their heads, they might as well be dead, when the Cleverlys come.
People keep saying these guys are funny, and yea, they are funny, but let's talk about how talented they actually are. It's so unfortunate that a band that clearly truly cares about music has to use comedy to differentiate themselves. I would listen to these guys if they did original bluegrass. The fiddle is flawless and manages to be raw and sexy at the same time. They have managed to make me enjoy the banjo (an instrument I hate), and they have impeccable harmony. Idk their full story, but it seems to me they want to be known as truly talented artists more than something to laugh at. If that was their angle, they wouldn't try as hard in their performances. It seems to me they only use that to get people to show up, and if I'm right, that's actually really depressing.
Humor is a skill/talent too. Used properly, it can get people to let down their guard, and be more willing to listen. Because everyone likes to laugh, they pay attention more because they don't want to miss the joke and feel stupid. At that point, you've got their full attention. That's when you smack them right in the face with the full force of your musicianship.
Outside of a dog, book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.
😂😂😂
believe Groucho Marx said that

It's cool to hear that harmonizing, especially to a Bill Withers song.
You boys always make me laugh. Ta.
Hysterical. An instant classic.
Such a fun group to watch!, Good fun.
Still the best performers!
This is like old school vaudeville, all the guys are doing business

Something about a blind man singing “Ain’t No Sunshine...” adds a little irony... 😅
Y'all are awesome
Very talented fellas!👍
I agree, the new one is all about the whole picture... i dig him, and he has a real grass voice.
Pure entertainment!
He sounds like Mr. Hainey from Green Acres.
Love It!
Interesting, uh, mashup. The Shakespeare quotes alone are worth coming back for -- Bardgrass, anyone?
Bardgrass....I like it.
That first joke about the dog is Groucho Marx.

Best Cleverly lineup for sure!

Can't beat Bill Withers.
Bitchen fellow babies. I dug it now !
How do you turn a Duck into a Soul singer?
Put it in the microwave on full power until it's Bill Withers.
Junior jr. is just deep. You wouldnt understand

He's the one in the hat mate.

You fuckin' knob!
If the new one could get the facial expressions down.
Jr. Jr. had some awesome facial expressions.
Interpretation of the music is brillant and very well done. The schtick is so bad I will never listen to another vid.
Agreed, too much fooling around.
THINK THIS GROUP NEEDS SOMETHING TO ELP THEM !!!!
hmm..everytime the boss steps out
@deeblooz I like the new one more, the old one was obnoxious and this one is hilariously awkward

They are GREATLY UNIQUE AND TALENTED....probably wouldn't stand down wind from any of them after they had beans, eggs or kraut.

I miss the old Jr Jr...this guy does NOT have the voice.
Sorry, never understood novelty music
Great band and songs. However, the fiddler’s hat looks stupid!
