Hi TJ. I am so grateful for each one of you who continue to watch these videos and on top of that take the time leave super kind words in the comments. Thank you for your support and kindness.
Tara Tobias. Obviously A Person who sincerely cares about sharing her Gift of knowledge in helping others. Essentially "FREE" (Think about it) Not only are relevant exercises clearly and precisely presented, but with it an explanation of cause, effect and of course, the proposed remedy. All the very Best to you Tara! NZ.

I just see your video I like it!!! You are a Doctor of the highest category! There are many videos on Internet but your lessons always help! Thank you!!!
As far as I understood the goal of these exercises is to use proprioception to help the brain control the muscles and of course reduce the negative synergy, thank you so much.
Hi Dr Tara, thank you for this excellent video honestly you've uploaded this video at the right time I recently realised I have to work on my left hip. Keep up the great work. 😊😊
Hi Teresa! I hope it helps!!! I hope you have a great week as well. As far as your other comment, walking in sand can be good as long as it does not make the spasticity worse. I hope that helps!
I want to thank you for all your help and extra information regarding spasticity and strokes. If a regular PT routine does not seem to help. Is there a certain doctor I would need to see. Who would know how to treat stroke/spasticity in the one side of the body? Thank you in advance. I look forward to watching more videos on your channel!! 😄
Hi Dr Tobias, first of all I think you are amazing. My brother had a massive stroke 18 months ago affecting all his left side. I follow your videos every week to help him. He has a lot of groin pain since his stroke which is hindering his rehabilitation, his physio thinks it is tightness of his hip flexors and spasms making the pain worse. In the future, would you please be able to do a video focusing on this if you think it is a common problem to help him and lots of other people too.Thank you so much
HI Dr. Tara you are wonderful, you are helpful you help me a lot your explanation is very scientific and directive thank you for your guidelines. .. I am Tarek from Egypt I have a major stroke 19 months ago and I learn from you .... thanks
Hi Tarek! Thank you for sharing your story. I am so glad these videos are helping you. Keep working on that 1% better each day!!! Thank you - I am really excited to try these with my trainer - we've been working on banded leg work to train my hips, but here are some new variations to try. I have spastic cerebral palsy from birth, affecting both hips and legs. I figure it is similar brain damage as stroke so I think the same exercises will help me too!
Thanks dr. T. Please do a video on straightening all joints of affected leg, starting from ankle, knee and then hip. This might be advance level recovery. Most of your videos are for early or mid stages of recovery. Not too many on advance level.

Ok now when I do the hip abduction exercise lying on my left side, I can’t raise my right leg at all. And I purchased that leg brace for hiperextended knees and it’s working!!
Hi Michelle! Thanks for another excellent comment. Yes, doing this exercises on your side is the "advanced" version. Continue to do it on your back (gravity eliminated) until you get a stronger and/or try on your side with your knee bent. I hope that helps! Oh, and I am so glad the swedish knee cage is helping. I hope you agree that it is worth the cost (I know it is pricey).

She has an Up Walker and I have noticed over a period of time, when she walks, she turns her right foot in ( so much so, she is tripping on her left foot ). I spoke to an Orthopedic Surgeon and he said he did not think it was her hip. He felt it was a muscle issue. I have an appointment for her on May 6th to take an XRay of her hip, hoping this will tell us what is going on. If it is muscular...what exercises would you recommend for her. We already do many of your exercises you recommend for her issues. Please advise!
