- There it is, the fabled long battle where Kiryu single handedly fights his way through the entire Ueno Seiwa clan all the way to the top of Kamurocho hills! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out if I do say so myself.

This was one of my favorite long battle. The theme song (Solitude) sums it up,Kiryu is absolutely alone and you feel it all the way through.
Love this stage, the atmosphere, snow in the middle of march, ambient track"Solitude", simply amazing.
Top 5 long battle in the series.
1. Dojima Family Raid as Majima
2. Jingweon Mafia in 2
3. Hakuho Clan in 3

5. Osaka Castle in 2
I honestly think that the Sonoma family raid as kiryu is better because of the jumping throw the windows and bathroom scene lol
? No this is the longest by far? 0s Majima is shorter than the ship, 3 is probably the second longest, the Jingweon was probably like 4th

If we're counting solo long battles only, I would switch out number 2 with Kiryu's Dojima Family and number 5 with Kiwami saving Shinji/Arase. Honorable mentions, Kamurocho Hills in Kiwami 2 and 5. For Co-op:
1. Shibaura Wharf with Nishiki
2. Millennium Tower with Yuta and gang
3. Tojo Clan with Tachi/Oda
4. Love Hotel with Rikiya
5. Iwami Shipyards
Nothing like going through Kamurocho Hills and crushing an entire Yakuza clan single-handed to get the blood pumping, is there?
I particularly liked that part near the end where you're stuck in that dark room with a bunch of guys and you can't see them if they're outside the lit part, or how those four minibosses/Lieutenants you've been fighting throughout one by one all come back in a single group right at the end.
Solitude and Geist Obscuration are definitely my favorite tracks of the whole game along with Elise's. This battle was the best. SUPER inspirational!
I've gotta say, Nakanowatari is one tough son of a bitch. Sure, he might've ran away when he was getting his ass kicked the first time, but the amount of punishment he can fight through is impressive: I've fed this guy several Tiger Drops in a row and he never flinched once. It's like he learned Herculean Spirit or something.
And considering that he fights with a baton and you have to fight him three times, it's pretty clear that he picked up a few things from Saito and Kuze.

Honestly this was my favorite long battle in the game.
Best battle OST in the game right here, I'd even go as far as to say one of the best in the series, especially due to the piano part.

I feel bad for the people who didn't play Y3 and don't know the origins of these cool heat actions like Essence of Terror etc 🤣

I though he was BMing with the cigarette at first until a heat action popped up 😂 I love this series
I enjoy the modern Yakuza heat/ex actions but the PS3 era is unbeatable for me. So off the wall, creative and insane.
Kiryu was such a beast here.

This is Kiryu we talk about mate, he's Beyond anything in that Verse, except Saejima and Majima Of course, the two guys that can match him, Kiryu is already a Legend at Yakuza 4, known for His Reputation for Destroying The Nishikiyama Family, MIA, Jingweon Mafia, Go-Ryu Clan, Black Monday, Hakuho Clan and of course Clashes with both Two Tigers with his bare hands
