      @@brandon1509 I get that, but he never uses them in any video of him I've seen. Which is why I would think he'd be more comfortable on straight bars. The angle of his hands when he's out of the saddle looks awkward and uncomfortable to me.

      @@PeterSobol sure, however the main advantage of the fixies is their low-maintenance. In other words if the something bike gets broken (like chain, wheel like tyre puncture etc.) you can repair your bike within minutes and continue your daily business which is very important because no tours = no cash.

    • @homelessathome

    Hey Terry, I might have a video idea for you:
    I feel like there’s a lot of people who watch your videos that want to get into fixies that could benefit from your knowledge...
    What’s a good starter bike, what’s a more high end one
    What kind of parts should I look for and/or avoid (how big should gears be, pedals+straps etc.)
    How to assemble it all and what to look out for(since cooper talked about chain slack)
    I feel like there’s a lot of potential in all that, since there’s not too many doing these sorts of videos, and the most you find are some generic bike store videos that don’t know their fixies
    Please consider a tutorial series...I would devour it, since I bought myself a fixed gear and would like to work on it, and/or build one myself

      @kitsachie. 4 года назад
