A wet brush "stops" when coming across a tangle it can't "solve", you are then supposed to manually take it out. This is why it won't "tug" at your scalp. In stark contrast with a Denman, IMMHO, since that just about "rips" through anything.
Thanks for taking the time to explain!! This is pretty genius & I had no clue. I'll definitely keep this in mind for next time. Also I haven't used a denman before but have heard so many rave about it in the natural hair community! I appreciate you sharing this comparison =)
I am definitely going to try out the detangling Wet Brush for my type 4 curly hair the vent one of course course because it's much more wider I always brush my hair to remove tangles I hate Combs
Hey Cuz, I totally agree. Nothing beats a wide tooth comb for detangling. I used the wet brush in the past and had the same issues with my hair being caught in the tip of the brissels, so i ditched it.
Hey Cuz, thanks for sharing your experience!! Using the wet brush for my curls worked out okay but for the kids it was amazing! Now that I have received some tips I'm going to try it again in my hair and see how it works out. But yes a wide tooth comb will always be my go-to. The tangles I get sometimes is crazy & it just manages them with ease!!!
Turn the wet brush vertically. It makes the world of difference in how easily you can get the bristles through.
Thanks for the helpful tip, I greatly appreciate that & will try it out :)

Yes. It's almost like it climbs over the tangle instead of ripping the hair out

@@TheResetWithEmi That is awesome to now know this :)
@@liveloveGlam , you're welcome! :)
@S A For me, it doesn't. No. Not up to this point, and I have been using this for over a year now. On dry as well as wet (damp) hair.

I agree with you a wide tooth comb is a must for hair. After I can use either the wet brush or a denman brush.
Thanks for sharing! I've never used a denman brush before, do you find you get more shrinkage with it?
@@liveloveGlam Yes more shrinkage

@@liveloveGlam when you tried it again? Which did you prefer? I read reviews saying that the tangle teezer will cause split ends over time
@@teeeee9174 It does. I only use the tangle teezer on dry straightened hair.
Your curls are TO DIE FOR. Absolutely gorgeous hair.
My curls are tight and that brush sucks, my hair gets caught in the balls to much, but it works when you brush vertical, but it feels uncomfortable.
what brand was the wide toothed comb you used at the end? or link? thx
I love your hair
Thank-youu!! :)
2:16 satisfying
