They’re doing a spin-off called How I Met Your Father. Completely different cast though
Wouldn't work...no one wants to see the story where the Mom dies and Ted goes after Robin again, which is what's considered the canon ending.
It could be a nice idea if they made the alternative ending canon and then maybe tell a story about how Robin & Barney get back together...but since that will never happen, let's just leave things as they are, or they will just mess it up even more.

I had to go back and check dates, but it's crazy that NPH wasn't publicly "out" at this point. In that context, Cobie almost went too far saying "every one of our significant others" were on the show, and that Josh and Jason were single. By process of elimilation, that means Neil wasn't single and that his significant other had been on the show. It almost looked like Alyson gave her a bit of a "stop there" look.
Can't say I saw the look from Alyson, but Neil definitely doesn't engage with what she's saying at all

I was so against this show. It was popular so I figured it was trash. I have antenna television and the channel I watch most started playing this show from 9-12. I was ticked! I changed the channel very time. One day I was just too tired and didn't change the channel. I saw the whole thing in 2 1/2 months.
i just really have to say this. i really love Alyson Hannigan. she is my favorite character on the show.
there are so many predictions that has actually happened in here . from the moment that robin and barney hang out as robin as the wing man , i really feel that there is a chemistry and then here come season 8. HAHAHAH
