This looks lovely - thank you! Even on Keto or low carb...... I think homemade biscuits would work for us!
I made this a long time ago. It's really good! I love Casseroles! I like to look at several recipes, then make it how I want it. Great video! 🏵💞🌼💘
Thank you for a simple recipe!
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you it looks delicious!
Im getting ready to try this ❤
Good morning MM!!!
Yes I will be making this as soon as possible. Thanks again your recipes are perfect and keep it up!!!
Thank you ☺️
I love the idea of this dish, but "white," / "breakfast," / "sausage" gravy is soooo easy to make and soooo much better than any mix.
I was thinking the same thing . She just cooked sausage , why not make the gravy from that ?
@@jackieisbell7456 not enough sausage...the "sausage" gravy barely has any sausage in it
I jusssst want to bake the biscuits for a few minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients. 😊
Throw some yummy shredded cheddar ontop
Cheese makes everything better 😉
does this travel well? like, can i make it and take it to a brunch?
I haven’t tried, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t. I would just cover it in foil and warm it up at 350° for 20-30 minutes before serving!
@ I just wondered if it would turn to “concrete” when it cooled off. Sometimes that gravy can do that 🤷🏻♂️
@@SpicyTwizzler10 did she not just tell you to warm it up at 350° for 20-30 before serving it?
Can this set in the refrigerator overnight with the gravy mix on top? New sub. Thank you
Yes 😊
@@mommymouseclubhouserecipes Thank you for the reply....
Aussie here. Is the ‘sausage’ you are using just ground beef? Or is it something specific?
It is ground pork sausage that has a similar consistency and packaging as ground beef.
I ate something similar growing up but my mom used bacon crumbles AND sausage
That sounds amazing!
@mommymouseclubhouserecipes it was...I wish I could make it like her but I always end up burning the biscuits
Mmmmmmmm
DEFINITELY missing some cheese but 🤷♂️😂 looks good
How much milk was used in this Casserole?😅
It’s 1/2 cup of milk.
Where are the hashbrowns that go in it 😊
I have tried several recipes that include hashbrowns and the problem I always come up with is it is never the crispy texture that you get from hashbrowns it ends up just being potato mush, and it’s not appetizing at all
You have to cook the hash browns first to get them crispy, then they won't turn into mush on you. I would put the hash browns between the biscuits and the sausage, unless you make your gravy the proper way (incorporating the sausage into homemade gravy, instead of a mix), then do biscuits, hash browns, eggs, then gravy.
It blows my mind that on all these videos no one knows the correct way to make sausage gravy. Why kind of psychopath makes the sausage and gravy separate? It’s just wrong and bizarre to me.
The proper way:
After you brown your sausage, you sprinkle the flour all over the sausage and you mix that together until each crumble of sausage is coated with flour. Once you brown the flour you pour in your milk. Then you add your pepper and/or sage (whatever seasoning you want).
You’re welcome.
Maybe you should make a video!
