I wrote a book called Happy Mum, Happy Baby. I was overwhelmed by the amount of emails and messages I received in response. I didn't want the conversation to end there, so I decided to start a podcast where I invited others to share their experiences. It was a huge success, so for series two I wanted to progress things and film it too. So every Tuesday at 5pm I'll be uploading the video footage from the podcast here... I guess that makes it a vidcast, but let's not get too technical.
The series will be a collection of frank and warm conversations with high-profile mums and dads. We'll be discussing all aspects of parenthood - the highs, the lows, the challenges and rewards. There is no such thing as the perfect parent. Instead, we’re all simply doing our best. It’s time to stop comparing ourselves and champion each other instead. Each episode will be truly unique yet unifying. No topic is out of bounds, and I hope the podcast and supporting video will be essential viewing for any parent seeking solidarity and support.
A huge thank you to Hello Fresh for sponsoring both the podcast and these videos, who make it easy for you to make delicious dinners from scratch

This has been one of my absolute favourite episodes! I’d love to hear a podcast of the McFly ladies all together ❤️

Love how comfortable you both are during this. It shows you are true friends. And love how giggly over the sex talk you get!! 😂😂

I watch every single vlog by Georgia, she’s so genuine. I don’t even have a baby 😂 but there’s something about Georgia that makes me feel calm, I always try and watch one of her vlogs when I’m feeling low because she just puts a smile on my face. There’s something about her voice that’s just so calming and gentle. I suffer with anxiety and she’s like my medication 😂

A lot of what Georgia said resonated with me. I certainly felt like I lost my identity after I had my daughter, and partly still do (she’s now 5). Love these videos and you can see what a lovely friendship you both have.

Every time I leave my love ones I say ‘be good, be safe, be happy, be healthy’ according to my mum I’ve been saying it since I was little and used to say it to my pony 😂 it’s so automatic I don’t even realise I say it! This was one of my favourite episodes X

I absolutely adored this episode, it was really a chat not an interview. You’re both so comfortable with each other that made everything seem so effortless and natural. Can’t wait to see Izzy here as well! Xx

I loved this episode, when I was a new mum i had a bad case of the baby blues I had no idea what it was I just kept crying and I felt like is it ever going to end, but I eventually came out of it and I wish I’d heard someone like Georgia talk about it before because these things are normal!

This is the one that has struck a chord with me, thank you so much for your honesty Georgia. You may as Well have described all of my feelings as a new mum. From feeling odd for not having that instantaneous overwhelming rush of love to wondering what you've done at times and the loss of your independence being the hardest part. Ive often felt so selfish thinking that was my hardest adjustment. Thank you x

Great episode! I can relate so much to what was said here. I found it difficult when I had my boy and struggle with going out and worrying about being judged on various things but it does get easier but again it's not talked about enough x

Also I just love the rawness and real ness of your talks with everyone. at my job I only work with one lady who has kids, she’s way older. She means well and she is always there for me when it really matters but it’s hard to talk about sometimes about my negative thoughts about motherhood and the toddler stage because she just goes kids are precious or whatever and I feel guilty for thinking anything wrong. I hope to meet supportive women like yourself who I can talk to in real life. I live in the states tho The British accents are nice and relaxing to listen to lol! Thanks again Gi for creating this space!

Hi Gi! I was wondering whether you could do a podcast on PCOS and fertility? I'm pretty sure I remember you saying that you have it in a previous interview and was wondering if you could go into more detail about it. Thank you so much! (I really enjoy your podcasts. They always keep my company when I'm having lunch or dinner!)

I'm not even pregnant nor do i have a partner but its my dream to have a child of my own and go through all the amazing things that pregnancy can bring and even the hard times i long for those days .. but i'm not in the right place now i'm 30 years old mentally ill and on a lot of medications and my body is not healthy .. i suffer with anxiety depression and have an emotionally unstable personality disorder so even socialising to meet people is off the cards for me until i can get healthy .. i have a charity helping me soon my first assessment with them is on Thursday and i'm hoping this can help me get off medications deal with my illnesses and be able to go out and meet someone to share my life with and have a baby before its too late .. the medications i'm on are very strong and it's not going to be easy coming off them .. this is the hand I've been dealt since i was 24 years old constantly being given medication to which i am now addicted too and i am so scared it is going to be too late for me .. but i just wanted to say it puts a smile on my face listening and watching happy mum happy baby it gives me some hope that maybe i can do this and i will have a baby before its too late!! Thank you giovanna for doing this. I dont even know if you will see this message but i hope you do just to know how nice it is for someone wanting a child so much to be able to listen to your and your guests stories and pray one day i can have my own!! Thank you xoxo =)
