If you need to really push single target you can triple spirit bloom someone.. echo, cast spirit bloom, SPAM Echo again on the target. Due to travel time, second Echo will be also triggered.. so 3x spirit bloom heal in total
And if you have verdant up on someone, you can hyper heal 2 targets with that comp
During bursting week, you can use stasis to lock in 3 dispels, then release them at once to save 3 people from ~15 stacks of bursting.
yoo i heard something crazy today, appearntly you can stack dispells in stasis, but you they get put in stasis even if it dispells nothing.. so you can just put 3 in there for later. (And the special dispell also heals so its pretty cool for Brackenhide hallow)
Something I brought over as a former tank is applying time dilation to the tank as they’re grouping mobs in a pull. It’s common to apply a DR buff on pull like rune tap, barkskin, etc as a tank to smooth out damage from mobs, so being able to consistently do that for the tank helps reduce spike damage on pull.
Except tanks dont take damage.

Living Flame Delay:
Living Flame is a particle, allowing you to cast Living flame first, then Echo and the Echo will be instantly consumed. This can save people if they need healing within 2sec rather than 4sec. However, this means that if you attack

One of the best tricks that was missing i have found, was spread Eco with Temporal anomoly, into Verdant imbrace to get lifebind on everyone, and Emerald Communion for consistant BIG aoe healing fairly quick :D ! Great video tho
Getting heals from Golden Hour with echo is absolutely critical in dungeons. In pugs, where people are more likely to get hit by avoidable damage, this is usually one of my top healing abilities as you can prepare by casting Echo or Temporal Anomaly just before any AoE abilities are cast and straight away top people off with Reversion. This also lets you save your big heals like Dream Breath and Spiritbloom for when you really need it.
This. Watching hasty play really makes you rethink how you play it.
I’m playing a Preservation Evoker as my alt and your content has helped me a lot :)
One note on the Echo is using Temporal Anomaly to apply Echo onto anyone it hits at 40% effectiveness. You can basically keep Reversion on players all the time.
I use an anomaly build that puts echo on people. Often times, I throw it in a path that people cant help but get pulsed on. Once 3 people have echo, you cast reversion on anyone else, usually a boomkin or hunter DPSing on Pluto, that applies the reversion on everyone else. If you spec grace period, you effectively have made your healing even more powerful for quite a long time. For those who worry about the mana use like this, just spec Energy loop. Effectively, you are spreading echos on a greater number of targets using mana instead of essence.

I think there are a lot of cool ways to do massive group healing with evoker. Can't wait until m+ because right now you don't get many opportunities to heal a lot.
Instant 4 person spirit bloom with echoes on all 4 comes to mind
Great video man! Sorry been MIA. Got sick, then surgery, then DF launch and my guild deciding they wanna push server first raid has me a bit overwhelmed. I have sound a few moments to heal dungeons on lvl 60 voker and priest. Both really fun so far.

Bonus Tip:
If you Echo someone, then Spiritblossom you can Echo someone as the Echo'd Spiritblossom flies out for a triple Spiritblossom. It is very powerful in PvP. This does NOT work without an active Echo present before Spiritblossom (unlike Living Flame where it works fine) because of how fast the Spiritblossom projectile is. An Echo'd projectile is just slow enough though.
Also a sick combo in m+ is to echo your party, verdant embrace one to get lifebind out on many people into emerald communion. Works as a big cd heal to the whole party like a tranq😁
For anyone who needs a giga group saver next to rewind you combo lifebind together with communion. There is probably no higher hps than that. preferably you get one or 2 essence burst and then put out 4 echos embrace yourself and communion, double dipping into the heal and overheal part of communion.

Personally i am using Temporal Anomaly quite a lot its doing a fair bit of my healing over all too. paired with the talent that allows you to spread an echo at 30% effectiveness on your target means that i can keep echo up on the entire party for most of the fight. i do have trouble with really big bursts but i feel thats just a skill issue. but before a big fight where i know the first 30 seconds can be rough on the party i pre cast Verdent Embrace with echos on the entire party then dream breath the whole group giving a 9k+hps hot for the next 24 seconds. which is pretty good.
Another tip is if you use Temporal Anomaly those get stored in stasis so you can launch 3 of the balls out at the same time pretty much getting your entire party at once plus echos and keeping them topped up on the ~10k shield for the next 6 seconds. so if done in a fight where they are kinda grouped and just before big incoming damage you can really reduce the overall damage spikes.

@@c3l7ic I mean... you sure can handicap yourself, once you play high enough you'll understand the mistake.
Temporal Anomaly is amazing for raid, but the way it travels is incredibly poor for M+ - because you have melees and the tank and spread out ranges and you can't hit both of these.
It will tick (and stack) the absord as far as I know even if you just hit 2 targets. So it definitely isn't useless or even bad. However, it has a very restrictive mana cost, like Emerald Blossom. I ran almost out of mana on +24 Tyrannical keys on some bosses (So'leah e.g.) - that was before they buffed Living Flame to return mana if its used to dps, however that change is unlikely to give you that much mana that you can frequently use Temporal Anomaly.
Additionally the damage profile where it works well (low ticking damage) is already filled by Dream Breath and Reversion.
So in short: Poor targeting, relatively weak effect, high MP cost and poor position in talent tree make this a bad choice for M+
One comment to make as an evoker is looking to the lifebind emerald communion/ dream interaction. With good planning you can triple echo your team, verdant embrace the heal around to everyone and have all party members benefit from the ticking multiple times
You can not triple echo, only double echo works.

Imo every Evoker should consider his own positioning in every fight since the breathes and "short" range. Because of this i use emerald blossom on myself after I have positioned myself appropriately for example between melees and ranged
i have a big problem with evoker neutralize. I use healbot. I just cant find spell neutralize in spell list. When i make a macro - it also dont work. It show a blue mouse pointer. When i change options -> combat -> self cast key on AUTO = neutralize work good. But Verdante embrence dont work. When i swith combat -> self cast key on NONE = Verdant work good, but neutralize dont work. How to fix this please help me

Can you make a video on Eveoker preservation using the Emerald Blossoms talent tree?
A video geared towards pugs and evoker healing when theyre spreading. There's quite a few bosses/trash that cause pug players to scatter and my worst moments have come when spirit bloom or dream breath are my best options and 2+ players are out of my range.
If you echo a person out of the range of your empowered heals,they will still get the full effect, if you echo someone in your dream breath or spiritbloom they will get it twice.

It’s quite annoying that your copied healing spells don’t show up on your frames. I love this spec, I however feel like I really pump when everything goes according to “plan”.. when shit starts to hit the fan i’m in big trouble.

We're using the same WA for our "bars"... how is yours so tiny? Mine engulfs the majority of my screen and is very overwhelming.
You can resize it in your weakauras options. I agree it started off way too big.

any tips for people who want to stand behind you, or outside the spell cone to heal them? For me, the hardest part of evoker healing in dungeons is I'm wasting a lot of spells bc the empowered and living flame take so long to get off and folks are always moving out of range when it goes off I miss at least 1/3 or half of them. The only reason I'm holding it so long is they're a pack of monkeys with like 1% health. Then I have several seconds everything is on cd and can't heal them. Another issue I'm having is removing the diseases in brackenwood hollow and one of the other dungeons I forget the name off hand, that keeps adding stacks to the whole party of nasty dots, but my spell has a 1m cd to dispel?
Could try putting Echo on the people behind you and then healing breath the people infront, hopefully that works out 😊

Your Echo + DB combo seems bad to me. Using VE (even with zero heal value) and putting Echo on everyone and using DB then gives a huge hot. There is rarely a scenario with a bigger burst than an Echo'd DB can handle and it lasts for 16 seconds. On the other hand I never ran into a scenario where I'd need huge aoe burst (Echo + VE) heal and had the time to use 4x Echo. It's usually always better to use 4-5 Echo and then DB, even without VE. The double DB hot is just too strong. Another big plus is that if a guy somehow decides to dodge your DB, with Echo you will still get it.
As a reminder and I don't think you mentioned this. You can verdant embrace yourself so you don't have to dive into aoe.

It's strong but definitely not the easiest. Most evokers are still horribly bad.

Mw getting some nice buffs this reset for m+. I'm curious how it does. It only sucks that mw is only healer I play out of mw, hpal, hpriest, and evoker that has oom issues on high keys. Yet, it's still top 2 fav healers.

@@Harvey2Tall Actually MW monk is probably less exciting than Evoker. As MW you most likely play fistweaving which means you stomp and press pretty much the same few buttons while re-applying RM without any relevant thoughts on your healing rotation. As a healer main I find this insanely boring. On Evoker you actually have to make decisions when you are going to use what heal since every relevant heal is on CD and you need to understand the situation and can't just spam whatever. This is exactly how a healer should work, you should not be (randomly) spamming heals.
I actually wanted to main MW this expansions but due to the fact how dull fistweaving is and how much of a handicap playing a "caster" build as MW is.... I am definitely not going to main it for PvE, maybe PvP tho.

You really need to track when and where you place FT, when to proc ancient teaching, make sure you are standing in FT with 3 stacks to get the most out of your blackout kick for dps and healing and constantly keep RM and rising sun kick on cooldown. Doing all this while still being inside melee range doing mechanics. And if you poorly plan a bad stomp you can cause a lot of issues. Also forgot to mention have 2 interrupts is always nice and keeps you busy.
But everyone has their preferences and learning the nuances for each healer is fun. I don’t know evoker as well as MW and I’m sure I will understand your points more once I play it more

This is actually wrong, especially after the change. FT is up 100% of the time, you have it always ready. And you don't go for 3 stacks, you go for 2 because that's the max output, you actually lose dmg and healing if you go for 3 stacks.
Earlier it was that FT required you to have several enemies in order to get 2 stacks, now it works against a single target as long as you are in the FT area. The rotation stays still dull tho imo.

Well ye, I mean this never happen. FT is basically always ready and has a huge area and in case you somehow fk up (which is barely possible but we assume you had a dc and a 10k ping), you can just cast a few RM in FT area and if it still didn't reset, 1 insta Vivify and if it STILL didn't reset (you go buy a lotto ticket after this btw), you can cast EF and then you got your FT 100% ready again.
Idk if you played Evoker during pre patch, most people didn't want to play with them because they couldn't keep the group alive. That's not just because people had low experience, it's also because Evoker doesn't allow mistakes on randomly using the heals since those have a CD and spamming living flame will not get you anywhere.
It was really hard to get into a grp as Evoker since most people simply had a bad experience, my highest key on my Evoker during pre patch was just a 22, never had such a hard time getting into a pug group.
