does the bend on the top portion cause the shifter to get too close to the dash or even hit it?? thxs
No this was perfectly fit and no touch anywhere but if your transmission internal shifter play too much then maybe but so far mine is good

Is there a bubble in roof 😳 so shifter does not hit the headliner ? 1 st gear against the dashboard high gear ⚙️ back in sleeper compartment ? I must be missing something 😕 disco light in sleeper , ceiling fan ? This is complex !
