Great to see our provincial government improving our roads for safety and convenience this is a dangerous well travelled section of highway especially in winter 😊
I remember when they did the first extension from just outside of Essex going to Leamington. I grew up in Northridge, bad accidents every weekend until they added that.
Hi Rob. Northridge is a cool little stretch of road. Highway 3 has seen it's share of killer accidents for sure. I grew up on Cedar Island and the drive into Windsor at that time was all two lane traffic. The winters were cold and we got plenty of snow through the season. The upgrades to Hwy3 are very welcome and a boost to our infrastructure. Thanks for sharing!:)
There is no way to shorten the commute time. I live in Leamington and commute daily. 45 mins from house to city limits. There is no way around that unless you speed. It will alleviate traffic congestion and traffic jams as people do speed on this road.
