"Something I give Diana respect for, while I'm running around blowing stuff up." "Well you _are_ Diana today." "Well you're in good hands, 47." "When we're out and alive, I'll believe that."
Hey outsidexbox, really glad you enjoyed this. I worked on the set (and was also the first henchman you killed). We had so much fun brining this to life.
And it wasn't even close. While Timothy Oliphant is, without question, the best actor to play an absolutely emotionless killer, the rest of the movie was... awful. To put it mildly.
In fairness, doing better than Hollywood wouldn't be hard. I could do better than Hollywood with my photography classmates from college and a pack of lead pens. These guys killed it.
i almost believed this was an HD hitman at first glance, then he entered the building, im amazed at the work put into this. Fantastic Camera work, beautiful sets, guy that looks and acts more like hitman then both pathetic movies combined, i think its safe to say you guys nailed this one, spot on perfection, this needs a series.
+Supa Blank Also i have to gush about the lighting besides one small exposure change the lighting was almost 1:1 with the games aesthetics and lighting, was that attention to detail or mistake? Either way it looked amazing.
@Justin B because they try and appeal to what the majority of people like instead of the niche that likes the game or whatever something is adapted from, that's what happened to death note as well. Its adroshious really. Most people who watched death note wouldn't even like the movie idk what they were thinking. White washing everything and americanizing stuff and adding fast paced action. It hypothetically will make them more money if say a small majority of the masses likes it than the entire fanbase.
You mean 47: I've entered the building, the target is in sight but he's surrounded Mike: Throw a propane tank on him then make everybody blow up! Or if this was Sapienza instead of Paris Mike: Throw an explosive golfball at him!
I'm super impressed that you only got caught once. If I were in charge, I would have been in panic mode the entire time and would have been killed super often. The fact that 47 was talking back makes the whole thing way more intimidating than the video game.
Oh I'm not saying it isn't amazing. I'm fact they did a fantastic job. I just realized that the image from the other side of the camera, so to speak. Is probably really funny as its kinda obvious who the hit man is.
Oh. My. God. This is just... unbelievably amazing. I'm not even a huge Hitman fan, but hearing that voice respond to you in real time made me giggle like an idiot. SO FREAKING COOL!
I wonder what they thought of the Oxbox crew. They must have had a blast. They definitely had to be one of the most dynamic groups they have gotten. Professional Andy, Murderous Jane, and Chaotic Mike. Trying to keep straight faced must have been a challenge. "Hold on. Let me put on my murdering tie." "I'll leave it up to your discretion whether you wear the stockings or not." Lose the sass 47".
Yeah, gorgeous pans and ots shots, framing it just like the game haha Also the lighting is definitely solid, good key lighting as well as just the general ambience And of course 47s witty banter
I bet back-seat assassins are really frustrating for hit-men. "The knife! Use the knife! No, don't hold it like that! Now pick up the body. Hurry up before someone comes in here.
+Carnage Phantom It's basically like a live action murder mystery (everyone in costume with their own agenda and roles) coupled with everyone actively ignoring the camera man directly behind the main actor, who has a bluetooth earwig, phone probably in hostler or shirt pocket. Very *very* well done on their part.
I live in this town where this was performed, It's called Oldway Mansion, in Paignton, Devon, England. My parents actually got married here (was a lot classier back then), thank god this didn't happen when they were there!
At the end I saw the van in the shot. You guys were definitely in there. Well done setup all of this including the actors who were involved in all this. Thank you
That was genuinely impressive! The guy you got to do 47 was awesome -- from the back he's basically an exact match for the guy. And I love how there was a "save point" after you killed the butler so you could try to complete the mission again. XD I also love how, after all that time doing sneaky sneaky poisoning, the kill actually came down to Mike shooting a guy with an automated turret and then insisting 47 steal a super-flashy car to leave. XD Seems going full Mike has less consequences than you'd think in reality. XD
I'm sorry but this was epic. it has a really cool niche appeal: controlling your own Agent 47 IRL? I reckon this would make for a cool weekly series maybe
I feel like there are enough people out there that would really dig being in their own game of Hitman as a rando, and enough rich game enthusiasts willing to spend a serious chunk of change on being "diana for a day" that you could almost make a viable niche business out of something like this. Obviously you'd have to file the copyright off unless IO wanted a reasonably low licensing fee, but you could also diversify a little-- the idea of "the operator" isn't unique to the Hitman games, it's a common conceit in all kinds of video games and movies. Friday nights it could be they're an Operator on an uplink frigate in the Matrix universe (also with the copyright filed off), saturday night they're a Hitman's controller, etc. You'd have to carefully design the games to minimize the number of actors needed at any one time, but some clever quick-changes and some long elevator rides to allow you to reposition actors and you wouldn't need a massive crew, the limited POV means guards could be repositioned as needed, etc. You'd need to control rent costs and labor costs to the point where you could make money at charging people 250 an hour, but now that gamers that grew up on this stuff are reaching their peak earning years, I could imagine you could fill two nights a week with reservations easily at that price.
+mymoonproductions It is live action and they are sending commands to a real person and attacking actors. Still the graphics in the actual game are still great.

Since video games are so HD now and the camera work was so good in this i actually thought this was the real game at some points. Good job guys also amazing voice and acting.
I'd like a game where you choose either Mike, Jane, or Andy, and you have to see how long you can pretend to be them before somebody, if anyone does, figure it out.
Unless you're a natural goody two-shoes, like me; in which case secretly playing the part of a (not-so-)secretly homicidal... well, "maniac" is a bit too harsh, but you get the idea. It'd be difficult, to say the least.
I'm absolutely terrified that Oxbox might join the ICA. Mike would just wait for his targets to walk onto a balcony and then shoot them, Andy would do some kind of weird stealth run involving murder and forgetting to hide the bodies, and Jane would walk in and start shooting everyone.
What if this is like an *Ender's Game* situation, where the players think they're just playing a game, but actually it's real, and they're being used by the "developers" to see if they're good enough to help Agent 47 accomplish the mission? (but sadly... they're not)
1:54 im not even 2 minutes in and im obsessed. Huge shout out iut to OX crew, and the crew that out the whole yhing together. Cant wait to watch the rest of it.

+outsidexbox id love to have had a go at thgis was awesome.
That was really cool!! Good job!!!!
When RUclips channels do Agent 47 better than Hollywood.
It's cuz RUclipsrs are community members who genuinely care about the franchise aren't just in it for the cash

He really put the "sass" in "assassin."
47 speaks much more when he is real.
i just realized... the best part about this vid is the cameraman XD
+Okami Inuzuka Yeah! S/he was doing an excellent job at mimicking an in-game camera! Deserves a raise.
