Nice setup. I kept my 2011 HCL LCD monitor with VGA (it's thickness prevents it from getting entangled). I've switched to wireless keyboards and mouse, wifi dongle and bluetooth earphones (they have zero input lag)

Everything amazing... but the wires. The wires are always the bane of any minimal setup. Back when I had a gaming laptop + stand + monitor similar to yours I had to resort to loads of right angled cables, many cable ties, and a cable shroud covering them all at the back. Still wasn't happy with it.
In the end I sacrificed the laptop screen in favour of a single monitor, then mounted the laptop in clamshell under the desk with all the cables routed out of sight.
Have to say though having a laptop with rear mounted I/O definitely helped a lot with keeping it tidy, can't imagine the hell of having to use side USB/Video ports,

i had the very messy setup and the poweruse was so much I changed to minimalist and realised that in most cases I don't even need second monitor and its much more easy to work now I don't know how does this work
I would totally buy that hub if it had several USB 3.0 ports (A desktop version essentially)

I can NEVER keep my desk this tidy. It's always got books, papers, headphones etc piled on top of it.
Neither do these youtubers, that's not a real world desk, it's just for the video.
This is bound to happen bro, in reality, the table will not be this clean. Unless u have everything to be done on the laptop.
they obviously clean and tidy it up for the video. Internet isnt real and its nice to remember it, a lot of people get obssesed with things that aren't real
just clean it up after using it. Buying a book shelf helps a lot to put everything back in it place. This is very much possible but the hardest thing is dust. That will never go away lol.

is the table top study enough for monitor stand to be attached like that? I have seen similar ikea desk fail before with monitor clamps.
Only just, but if this was a long term setup, I'd probably switch to using the monitor stand or getting a stronger table top.

Sadly there is no Windows Laptop that actually can compete with a Macbook Pro. They are either more expensive or not as powerful. Also Laptops run hit/get loud fans and have worse battery life. Then they are often heavy or ugly designed.
I have a Desktop PC and want to switch to a windows Laptop so bad to keep my Steam games. But i think i will have to buy a Macbook Pro M1 for video editing.
