Mom's theme finally got released after all of this time. We've been waiting and waiting, but I prefer this WAY more. A nice callback to meeting the original big bad of the franchise, Master Xehanort. The bass is so punchy in the intro as well. I can already picture the scene.
I am absolutely in love with the part after 3:15. The way the drums just get stronger and stronger with each tune of the beat. This somehow captures how I felt when I first watched the KH2 secret ending for the first time and saw Terra's eyes turning yellow. This is a great cover, I listen to all KH covers while I'm doing work and it just makes mundane work just that more exciting. I just can't get over how epicly(?) you use the drums! I hope one day (if you have the time of course), you can cover my favorite KH song, Another Side, Another Story (OST of KH1's secret ending). There really just hasn't been any good covers of this song yet which makes me sad, but it would be awesome if you do cover that one day!
