Xemnas is the best villain in Kingdom Hearts or best villain period. He’s cunning, cryptically philosophical, brutal, has finesse with all things, vigilant of everything, an absolute true realistic nihilist, witty and quick on his feet, could literally make anyone in the world miserable and want kill themselves, turns a persons morals against them making them question themselves, curses and condemns both the light and darkness, ruthlessly persistent, always has a back up plan and thinks ahead of every situation, #1 destroyer of morale, plus manipulates everyone in the game and makes them feel like shit, while being such a badass while doing it. Marluxia and Vanitas are the next runner ups under him at being assholes.
If it wasn't for the very Xehanort himself, i would have been prefer Xemnas, to be the antagonist for the whole "Dark Seeker Saga", cause this ost fits him better and also fits with the ideals that he puts through. I always considered Xemnas to be "The Sephiroth" from the KH series.
Xemnas is very hypnotizing character to me, he really feels like the void of nothing

I love the visuals at the start with Terranort morphing into Xemnas. It makes sense since that is literally still Terra's original body still.

I still think Xemnas is the better villain of the 3. Ansem SoD sought answers and knowledge (kinda like old master xehanort). Back then though I seriously thought it was Terra under there but alas KH3 threw quite the curve ball. Back to Xemnas though he's a man who yearns to get back what he had lost. The ability to feel. Was that so wrong? His body remembers a 'friend' in an armor and seeks a 'chamber of waking' which another of his 'friends' resides. On top of resembling Terra with the hair style, the nose, the eyebrows and masculine body structure its no wonder we were lead on.
but hey if Roxas is allowed to be his own person then why can't Xemnas.
Ah of course, yet another person who didn't pay attention to the Guardian scene in DDD.
Xemnas could've been his own person if he was brought back like Roxas by extracting his heart from Xehanort. However, Nomura didn’t think of that and brought him back by time travel, which made Xemnas forget his development and won’t come back.
@@Ratzmoonmopes I love how people say this, even though we see (explicitly) that Terra and the Guardian are two separate entities during Aqua's fight with Terranort in BBS (remember how there was an entire section of the fight dedicated to reaching Terra's heart and performing a trinity limit _against_ the Guardian?).
The Guardian was meant to be Terra's WARDEN, not Terra himself. That was just another retcon in a list of retcons KH3 made.
Its suggested that Xemnas finally understood what made Roxas his own person after his final duel with Sora. He talks about feeling emptiness, and sadness, longing for his missing friends which he mistakes for weakness at first until Sora tells him, that's what its like to be human. To love, to miss, to be sad, angry, and lonely. Which Xemnas replied, "It must take incredible strength to be human."
@@DLxxx The Guardian is essentially Terra's heartless. Like most Heartless, Terra's heart has no control over it. However, perhaps due to Terra's own knowledge and slight control of darkness, or due to the strange circumstances of its creation, Terra can occasionally assert control over it. (The other two heartless-in-control we know of, Ansem SoD and Sora, both took their heart voluntarily -- perhaps Xehanort's split affected Terra as well?)
This is the kind of tone in music KHIV needs. Kingdom Hearts III felt flat at times.
I’d also love to see “Forgotten Challenge” and “Scythe of Petals” blended together. On the subject of DOTU, I love how you’ve conveyed Xemnas’ anger and rage. This piece, from start to finish conveys power and menace. It’s easy for the Dragon 1 and Final Form phase to detract from the emotion he brings to the final battle. By putting such an emphasis on the 2nd phase, you’ve brought the best aspects of the fight to the table. I also like how you rearranged the piano of the Dragon 1 phase to sound like Disappeared. My only disagreement is with the xylophones, but I think they’re growing on me! I love the powerful percussion too. In the original, it was easy to miss it behind the screeching violins and booming brass/organ.

Out of all your covers from KH, this is my favorite. I get chills every time 2:07 rolls around. This has definitely supplanted the original version as my all time favorite interpretation of Darkness of the Unknown.

Oscuritá di Xehanort aka the "Nort court" theme would be a pretty interesting idea to cover! Or honestly any version of Young Xehanort's theme because that violin and cello solo in the song is the best! ❤

Holy crap.. How long did this take to finish? And where do you get your choir sound samples? Or do you actually compose for an actual orchestra?
This took about 20 - 30 hours if i remember correctly and the choir samples are from Audio Imperia - Nucleus Lite Edition and even it's only a lite version it is super good and easy to use :)
I don't compose an actual orchestra but SOME DAY! I will :D
