I came all the way after shutting down my laptop and then restarting it again just so that I can comment and tell everyone that THIS WORKS. Can't thank you enough my man. I was so frustrated.
my logitech m557 quit working a little bit ago. found this, followed the instructions and everything is back up and working properly, again. thank you!
Awesome, you are my hero! I was getting so annoyed after going through all the steps microsoft pages gave me, without result. Then I followed your steps, all problems gone. The restart with the mouse de-installed was the greatest move. Thanks
Thanks!!! You are a genius. I would add the following: I installed a new Logitech keyboard/mouse combo today and it was acting in a very flakey way. When typing, incorrect characters were being inserted, and the backspace key failed to work much of the time. Following the instructions in this video I disabled 'Turn on fast startup'. I then uninstalled the Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) driver and shut down the computer. When I turned the computer back on my new keyboard/mouse combo worked perfectly. I'm using it right now. So if your Bluetooth device is acting flakey, disable 'Turn on fast startup', then try uninstalling your Bluetooth driver and shutting off your computer. That might fix the problem, as it did for me.
This works and solved my problem! I thought initially why this guy is going for power settings - maybe this another not so helpful video. But when I followed this exactly, it worked. Thanks for the solution.
Guys trust me this video is gold. These 2 mins 16 secs worked like a charm. My Targus mouse stopped working suddenly and neither changing its USB in different ports helped nor changing batteries of mouse. It was irritating but after I found the video and read positive comments of most of the ppl in comment section, I thought lets give it a try and yesss it did work without any hassle. So if u r reading this comment, I would like to tell you dont get scared in following the above steps and think it will cause harm to Bluetooth drivers or anything. Just go for it. Have a Nice Day !
Thank you!! This worked for me when one fine day my logitech BT keyboard and mouse would no longer connect for no reason. Pairing them again didn't work either.
Thank you very much. Great help!! Actually uninstalling was not necessary, in Windows 10 it was sufficient to disable and then enable the bleutooth device (not the mouse).
This solved my bluetooth mouse issue in 5 min. All of my 30 min. research on YTube and reading of articles proved useless. I'm amazed at your solution:)
Thank you so much, I would never have found this solution if it wasn't for you, cheers mate, great job: An USB mouse as interim for shutting down the system after disenabling bluetooth did the trick for me!
OMGG!! It workeddd!! I had literally gone back to my havit receiver mouse as I was already frustrated with this whole bluetooth mouse thing, but I decided to follow your video and it workkeeedd!!! Thank you so much!
Everyone thanking for the help and just wanted my computer not to send me to a web page everytime I look for "Device Manager". Anyone else doesn't have this "tool" on windows 10?
For others having issues Logitech master 3. For me the mouse wouldn't show up on desktop nor would show up under Bluetooth scanning.. while it was perfectly visible & pairable to my phone.. Turns out my mouse went out of charge or something.. and the power cable supplied did not charge it.. i highly recommend using phone charger then reconnecting to PC. Thanks
HawkeyeGamer maybe you need to remove device/ unpair the mouse. uninstall and reinstall bluetooth driver. Along with a reboot. Then add the device again.
I will try this the next time it starts to act up. Right now the driver keeps uninstalling itself. Other things are; the mouse will stop working and the Blue Tooth icon will appear in the tool bar and I have to excessively move the mouse around and most times it will reconnect, other times I have to switch the mouse off and on, but sometimes no matter what I do, it refuses to connect. I found the newest driver and it installed itself under Programs and Features, and I clicked repair and the after I added the mouse again because it disappeared and it started working again, but who know how long. It's a Dell Alienware 18 inch laptop, and very expensive, and the only up to date drivers are from W8 _ Dell sucks and they must think I'm crazy if they think that I will buy another Dell ! The largest Dell there is now costs 1600.00$ and probably comes with W10 yet. So when W11 is officially released it won't run W11 I bet, and I have to blow another 2 grand ! What a crock of shit ! When it happens again Xu Cui I will try your solution and report back, it's working now, so I will leave alone.
I tried everything and my bluetooth keyboard still disconnects. So i realised, my wifi and bluetooth adapter is a hybrid, which i think it means that they are connected. so i decided to look for the WIFI ADAPTER and change the power management (remove the tick on the 'allow computer to turn it off to save power' option) and it worked! i believe its because im not using wifi and therefore it automatically turns it off, which affects my bluetooth. I am using LAN cable instead. SO you can give this a go! It is under network adapter and Intel WiFi.
Didn't work on my side(Microsoft Ergonomic wireless mouse). My fix: Devices-> Bluetooth-> Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse-> Disable device -> Enable. And now Works.
It worked! Thanks. What a piece of shit of operating system is Windows. Hopefully the engineering programs I use will be available for linux in the future
@@iwanjf Yesterday I reinstalled my Windows 10 without losing anything, USB dongle works but mouse still not doibg anything I asked for a new Bluetooth dongle un Amazon It Will be here tomorrow then I'll tell u if this works!

Awesome video. Xu, thanks so much! My issue was an Intel Bluetooth driver. You're recommendation did the trick!
