I remember those days with little ones and running my work at home job plus farming and doing all that plus manually entering QuickBooks accounting and taking care of the home. I had to give myself permission to hire help to clean every six months. My ex husband was not supportive at all. It's so wonderful to see a couple truly working together!! I did enjoy this. People don't understand that running an online biz takes more time and effort than running a storefront...we have to do self promotion too. I would love to see more! Blessing to your family!

I was tearing up watching this because this is what my life looks like right now as I am getting things going and I thought it was not the "right" way and that I'll never be able to get where I'd like to be. This totally put the "dream" into perspective. This stage is all about working with what I've got and it might feel like a lot right now (kids, home, laundry, husband, finding the minuscule amount of time to work), but it's just an adjustment to a new way of life and it will get easier, or at least I'll get use to the dynamic. Thank you for sharing yours to help me gain perspective of mine

I mean maybe I should settle for a little less in those initial years and then give more time to business. How do you deal with that feeling?
Great question! Right now I’m fortunate that my husband’s job is flexible enough that he can cover childcare sometime if they are sick. Other times my assistant that helps with my Etsy shop is an angel and helps too.
I have a service based business and my 2 kids are the same age… But I do cook and clean… I work and take calls until midnight most days. Mama is tired 😴
