I have a new K850 and used the logi app to use the Mac Keyboard layout...so I can copy and paste etc. but it does not control the sound...so if the video has a speaker button I can turn sound on and off but if not is there a way to enable the speaker keys F8, F9 and F10 in the Mac layout?
Hi Matt, cool video ! Can you pair one computer with the Bluetooth and the other with the usb dongle ? And if so do you have to download the unifying software to use the dongle or this isn’t necessary?
You can have either 3 Bluetooth or 1 USB and 2 Bluetooth devices configuration. To pair using a USB dongle, you need to press Fn + P on Windows and Fn + O on Mac, and when the light on the keyboard starts blinking rapidly, connect your USB dongle to your computer to pair. I recommend downloading Logitech Options and Logitech Flow software.
Horrible that the easy switch buttons are not synched between the keyboard and mouse. My 10 year old daughter can never remember that you have to switch both each time ... what a pain!
Do not buy any Logitech hardware keyboard setup if this is for the corporate enterprise world where your corporation has all kinds of security because the installer will not work and or it will not work if your browser has a mandatory proxy that must be used and can not be disabled. But the MK850 is great for home use indeed!
There doesn’t appear to be. I believe they are 2 separate devices with discrete Bluetooth radios. The mouse and keyboard don’t communicate directly to each other.

I have the same combo/ was able to connect both keyboard and mouse to my android device but cant switch back to my desktop.. please help.. than you

I think you need to install their Logitech Flow software to switch devices by just pressing one key.
