Part of this video was inspired by a fellow RUclipsr, Ms. Laurie-Ann @fromcnatonp She recently posted a video discussing the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and I had to jump in.

Hey Kendra, from the UK 👋🏽🩷 so so so happy that your scans were clear! I literally said “Thank God” Girl I know the weight loss struggle! I have PCOS & this is the first time in my life that the weight literally doesn’t want to shift! I have been the same weight for the past 2-3 years also, despite going to the gym regularly & making food changes. But I’m just starting to embrace my size and keeping up with the gym cause I love it and I’m actually very fit 😂 the gym instructors tell me all the time how well I’m doing! Anyway, I just wrote a whole life story on YOUR video 🤦🏽♀️ I hope that you keep well and keep healthy, I love you & your videos, they are so down to earth and you are the sweetest 🩷💜

Been waiting on a new video from you. 😁 you did not need Botox, you have beautiful skin and no wrinkles, but I understand preventative maintenance. I was thinking about you when I saw the nurses at one of the large health systems here go on strike. They demanded $40.00 per hour starting pay for nurses with a B.S.N., more help and better nurse to patient ratios, and they got all that they wanted. Come to find out they were hiring all these new nurses fresh out of nursing school with little to no experience and paying them less and the nurses were also complaining about how unsafe it was. They only had to strike for 3 days. and they got what they wanted. I thought about you when I saw that on the news, healthcare is a money making business now, you are so right. Smh I forgot to mention that they are in a union. They even got lower copays in their insurance. And they demanded that they also hire at least 70 per Diem nurses to fill in for staffing shortages.
Hi!!! Alot of people said the same thing about the Botox. I wanted to try because it may be a business I get into. Unions are very helpful thats why hospitals fight against them. Caregivers in this country deserve better and so do the patients. Have a great weekend.

Thank God 4 the neg PET scan. My cousin just got her entire thyroid removed. Praise God the nodules she had weren't malignant. She's just getting her voice back. She still can't scream.

I am also being seen by my Endocrinologist for my parathyroid. I wonder how common is this in women and especially women of color?

Thank you! The parathyroids are so tricky, I sometimes can't believe that I actually had surgery because of them. I'm glad that you're under the care of an endocrinologist. Oh wow, you're in NP school too!!! the struggle, I can't wait to be done next May please God. Enjoy your weekend.

Where I work, everyone wears a badge. MD, NP, DNP, PA, PT, OT, RN, LPN, MA, etc. Every once in a while a patient will think I’m the provider when I step into the exam room. I’m wearing a big ol’ red RN badge! 😂 I forgot about your parathyroid diagnosis. So glad the scan was ok and that you’re having your CA monitored. That’s so important! My husband and I have really decreased our dinners out. We’re getting older and it’s a real challenge to maintain weight. We tend to order an app and a drink instead of dinners. It’s also a $ saver too!

I order Home Chef, low carb, low cal meals , 3 meals with 2 serving, so I eat half the daily. I use mounjarno , exercise and eat healthy and I lost 30 lbs in 2023. Trying to loose 10 more pounds.❤
4 weight loss & maintenance, try 2 set the limit 2 the calories required 4 ur goal weight. U will find that we don't necessarily over eat, but the amount of calories n our food choices r insane, esp when eating fast food. I would also recommend looking n2 snacks that have 0-low calories. Give urself a day where u eat ur favorite food or snacks. Try not 2 overindulge. If u do, give urself a harder workout 2 compensate. Set weekly goals until it becomes a lifestyle change.
1 thing that helps me is 2 buy what I'm going 2 eat & not much more. Going full food shopping also helps people eat more bc more is available, which means ur also buying more food.
I don’t calorie count but I’ll have to start paying attention. I also need to have a list when I grocery shop because I do over buy. Hope you’re doing well.

You can get the pen stain outt with hand sanitizer and detergent 👍
I had it soaking in bleach and detergent but I’ll try your method.
Waxing is nice but I prefer to get my eyebrows threaded. It’s way more precise and less messy than waxing

I understand everyone will have an opinion and that’s totally fine. I happen to agree with you Kendra. Your eyebrows are gorgeous the way you fix them. The darker color makes them pop against your pretty skin. They’re shaped perfectly and match the symmetry of your face. You look so youthful.
