Dude. Mike. How? HOW have you not changed this title from “the WORST moment in American history” to at the very least the worst moment in American (football) history?! Or to literally anything else. I get what you were going for man we all do. But it’s very very low hanging fruit. Japan beats the US , Pearl Harbor, we get it. I’m too young to have felt Pearl Harbor or JFK assassination but I WAS there for 9-11, yet another terrible moment in American history. That was my twenty fifth birthday. My wife died a month before this, and I just just got out of the military on a hardship. I would have went back in but they said I had to go through six months of grief counseling and by that time my wife’s parents convinced me to keep doing the college thing I just started. Any way, there’s many people who have ties to these truly horrible American events. Be sensitive man
Yeah context is key. We were not allowed to use any professional players (NFL/NCAA) while they able to use pro athletes due to football being our sport so because of that it was an equivalent to Alabama vs a bunch of average joes with us having a disadvantage. Had we been allowed to use professional players as well it would've been something along the lines of SuperBowl 48 with us getting the victory
No matter what American sport played there always seems that they are more a soap opera. Racing and football is the worst I think.
Considering Japan has one of the oldest American Football leagues OCONUS, I'm not surprised by this outcome. That was Japans best and brightest U20 players while the US sent whoever they could piece together from D2 and below.

The reason why this happened is because no one acually good at the game is playing some bum *ss japanese football.
I dont know what the IFAF is but anybody worth a damn at football between the ages of 18 & 20 is playing in the ncaa and since most of them wont risk their NFL chances by playing in a bowl game unless its in the playoffs. Im not sure who would be playing in this.
