You could also make a case for Jameis Winston. Matthew Stafford is the closest thing the NFL has to LeBron James at the quarterback position.

It's always a problem when the spouse of a talented or famous person gets delusional and thinks they're somehow also talented or famous by proxy. They're not. As far as I can tell this woman achieved nothing in life other than marrying someone else who is incredibly successful. That hardly qualifies her as someone the public would or should be interested in listening to on anything. She's either saying these controversial things to get noticed and gain clout, or she's completely effing clueless. Either way, not a good look. It would probably be a good idea if she went back to doing what she appears to do best - being blonde and smiling.

Gotta give Stafford his props. They beat the crap out of him and he keeps standing tall.
Stats can be misleading, but accolades can be even worse. The fact that he didn't get a pro bowl nod in his 5k season is disrespectful. He was drafted into a Bryce Young style situation, where the only other bright spot on the roster was Megatron, and without a doubt was the only reason the team was even remotely watchable in the era. And during Megatron's 5-6 year run on pro bowls (can't remember how many it was), Stafford only got the nod once, which implies the powers that be clearly thought one was a product of the other.
If he puts in a few more solid years, he should absolutely be in the Hall of Fame, if for no other reason than having survived the franchise that ruined two of thew best players in league history (Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson) and lived to not only tell the tale, but win a Super Bowl elsewhere. He's the real Geno Smith story.
