  • A typical CFCF-TV ident from 1998, using the station's on-air slogan: "Montreal's One to Watch". CFCF-TV was originally part of the WIC television group, but when CFCF broke off from WIC in 1998, the station became an owned-and-operated station of the CTV Television Network, owned by Bell Media.

The "Montreal's 1 2 Watch" logo was also used in CFCF's ads in French media, but minus the words.

I never realized there was a CFCF-TV commercials on other French-Canadian networks.

@@alphanimtheskykid CFCF pre-WIC also owned TQS, and I've seen CFCF ads in French in TV Hebdo and La Presse's TV supplement.

@@timripley3396 I just checked out on Wikipedia for the article CTV 2, that the system was launched on September 1, 1995 on CKVR-DT. The system expanded throughout Ontario and finally Vancouver Island. Atlantic Canada's ASN joined the 'A' television system as A Atlantic on August 11, 2008, as well as Access, which used an A-styled logo. On August 29, 2011, all A stations were renamed to CTV Two, and finally on September 24, 2018, when CTV was given a new logo, CTV Two was rebranded to CTV 2. CTV 2 is owned by Bell Media, which owns CTV.

@@timripley3396 That was an outstanding throwback to the 1990s. For example, for English-language media in Montreal, the normal "Montreal's 1 2 Watch" CFCF logo appears on print advertisements used on newspapers and on the station's website.
