Good point about MGP. They get some bad press in the US because they produce huge amounts of whiskey, and therefore people assume that huge volume must equal poor quality. But that’s not true. In blind tastings, the MGP products do very well.
People just love to rag on something I think. Hasn't hurt MGPs business though so I'll bet they don't care at all 🤣
Nice review Vin. I need to admit I’m big fan of MoM bottling. I do have about 12 bottles in my collection. The best deal I got there was a Glen Elgin 17yo for £39

Got the Wheated Bourbon today vin. Not bad at all for a Bourbon, similar to Makers Mark for me (not tasting against it, just what i remember of Makers). I definitely prefer the more higher Rye bourbons and higher ABV for my Bourbons so i stick to Wild turkey 101 over Makers Mark etc. def worth a go though if you are a wheated bourbon fan. cheers

Cheers Vin I've grabbed a few off their bourbon / Rye /Grain whisky releases my personal pick was a re-release of the 11yr Tennessee Bourbon this time finished in Oloroso casks only 72 bottles of that version. Excellent bottle for the price.

Massive fanboy of these bottlings. Interestingly, Boutique-y bottles that don't sell seem to be rebottled at 700ml as MoM bottles.
That's interesting, I'd not really thought of that. Still, if it comes through at a good price then I'm all for it
