- It's time to go thrifting at Goodwill and search for things that will sell on eBay for profit. I love to go to thrift stores because there's always a chance of finding something amazing (sometimes a very small chance) but it keeps things interesting and fresh. Garage sale and rummage sale season starts next week, so I'm thrilled at the thoughts of what kind of finds this reselling year will bring.

//WHO AM I?
I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.
Subscribe and join me on my adventures to see what I can find to make some dollars.

//FAQ
Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
Q: Can you make a living selling online?
A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

Even estate sales in my area are insane.Yesterday I saw $400 for a $100 35mm camera. It’s getting worse by the day it seems. VCR combo player not recorder for $150. I couldn’t believe it. I have to find the obscure stuff in order to make a profit lately.
I have a similar foot massager, different brand, it's my favorite thing, you should keep it!
Wick, in a sea of flipper videos, yours are my absolute favorite. You don't do the crazy over dramatics, and your videos are so educational. I really appreciate you. ❤
Thanks! I actually tried it when I tested it and now I'm in no hurry to sell it.
I always keep a velcro pack with: philips + flat screw drivers, pliers, & measuring tape.
Vintage cast iron dumbbells and weight plates are good sellers. Brands include York, Weider, Ivanko, etc. Shipping is a project though. USPS flat rate boxes are the best option if they fit.
I saw a squishmallow that would have brought in a few bucks but of course our GW had marked the price on the tag w a fat black marker.
I love watching the hauls. Fun! Thank you, Wick :)
thanks for the tips,, always lookin
Thanks again for your videos. Motivates me to go out and thrift harder. After a week of coming up empty yesterday I found a tub of digital cameras only priced at $10 each.
Went to my Goodwill bins for the first time in a few years. Used to be 0.69 per lb. Now 1.89 per lb for everything. Not bad if you can find the right items but I definitely put a few things back I normally would’ve grabbed.
I feel ya on the high prices. Went to an overpriced goodwill yesterday. It’s weird because another goodwill I go to everything is cheaper.
Love finding doc martens. Great video, Wick!
Thanks!
I've sold that Hello Kitty alarm clock before for $30 a few years ago. For $20 though, that's a hard pass. If I'm not getting an alarm clock for $5 or less I'm moving on...
Awesome video
Thanks!
I really appreciate the support, thanks!
Love when Sunday comes around, I work from home and Sunday is the start to my work week (my 9-5) ....when the new video notification hits it makes the work day tolerable. This week I sourced a 94 or 95 Jurassic Park dinosaur worth quite a penny...I don't remember seeing a video where you grabbed one- but wanted to share. Do you have experience with vintage Jurassic Park,? Great video- thank you for always taking us along on your adventures!!
Yeah, I've sold some before. I haven't found any of the original stuff in years. My best was an Indominous Rex I sold for around $200.
@@FlippingJunk that's awesome! This is a 94 Kenner Carnotaurus. Don't know if that's an actual dinosaur but I do know that if it was complete it would be a lot more profitable. I'm just happy to find it- these are getting so hard to find nowadays.
In addition to the crack pipe pricing let me call out thrift stores that throw the occasional Patagonia or Harley piece out with damage. Look them over VERY carefully.
You have a lot of patience and time to be hitting GW like you do,
I guess you tube money makes up for it. Me, it’s gona be Savers and 2A
Hi Wick! I don't understand, with the amount of stuff they get for free, that they wouldn't want to move it and make room for more! You'd think they would rather make 20% of something than 40% of nothing! I was in one once where there was a new blanket that was literally being sold on QVC for less, even after shipping! Way to stick with it, though, and not lose hope! Yours has a big craft section, though, I would have definitely been digging through that LOL Liked and shared, thanks Wick!
Thanks! Rummage sales and garage sales will feel extra nice this year. Will be happy to have something else other than Goodwill lol
@@FlippingJunk that's right, you're going to have a great year!! 😊
Selling that receiver on ebay, they sure are time consuming, there's testing which takes time to do it right, and theres shipping which also takes time to do it right. Might be better served locally for that. All that time adds up to money.
Yeah, it just depends on the receiver and how much you can make. They are rough to ship, so locally is great if you have a good one I think.
some thrift stores are just way to high, just on everyday crap. everything is donated to them,it's not like they have to buy their merchandise,it's free for gosh sake/i know they have overhead keeping a store open, employees to pay.still it's ridiculious to price a used item for more than when it's new,, and that does happen
F. Goodwill with the prices let them keep it.
is your goodwill full of that trendnet networking stuff? Mine had a ton of that stuff that came in i wonder if they spread it around all the midwest goodwills
I don't think I've seen any yet
Unbelievable Doc Martens for $5 that would never happen in Connecticut
What is up with Goodwill prices?!! 🤯
🥇
Pokemen vhat
Are the prices insane because of inflation or because goodwill learned how to check eBay prices from all these channels?
Good point. Ohio's GW prices are still lower than most of the states, they are just starting to catch up
GW is such BS the way they price stuff. Supposed to be 'thrift' pricing. Should be illegal - they get all these tax breaks atop of it. The CEO is hella wealthy. I don't even go in them anymore. Trash ass stores w/ criminal processes.
Geezus whereeeeeeeee r these goodwill stores u go to aren't u in the cleveland area??? Cuz the Goodwill's in crackron are nooooooowhere as nice or stocked like the ones you go to
