- Finally made it to my favorite season of the Teen Titans series. I know some parts like the episode intros and the villains intro looks worse but I no longer have photoshop and it's much too expensive for me rn so please bear with it. Regardless we are in the final stretch now for this series so I hope you enjoy.

11:34 I would’ve switched the dialogue around by Raven saying “I was raised by the monks of Azarath, I was protected by my friends.” as technically the monks brought her up until she was around 15 (since it’s her 16th birthday in ‘Birthmark’) & her friends did everything to protect her from Trigon.
100% agree, I even thought about mentioning this in the video but ultimately decided not to. But it's funny you say that cause every time I hear it I think that lol.
The thing about Raven's arc is that there feels like there's no way to top this, like this should've been the final season (putting BB's season before hers, as well as making a Starfire season).
Back around 2011 to early 2014 (when I was a Sophomore all the way to when I graduated as a Senior in high school) this season was always my most favorite. Still is. Aside from the main arc and all, the Titans really grew as characters. It just made me love and appreciate them as heroes more.
Didn't appreciate it back then or really understand how dark this season was or the social commentary growing up. But now being older and understanding things in the world can definitely appreciate it now more than ever. Also listening to you talk about the show has made me wanna watch it so this has been a fun trip down memory lane
Season 4 was such a phenomenal season. Definitely one of the best in the show
Raven was always my favorite character and I always thought she was the best one because she is a strongest
I've just watched your whole Teen Titans retrospective recently and I wanted to appreciate time and effort you put I these reviews, especially since they're your first videos. I wanted to make it clear about Teen Titans villians being mostly lame and uninteresting, show's creative crew goal was not necessarily to make a ton of interesting villians with complicated backstory or philosophy, but to make them a key component for Titans interactions. Take Atlas for example, he's bold and simple villian with no particular goal other than defeating Titans, but that's not the point, the main focus is about Cyborg struggling with his power limit and Atlas just serves as a tool for Cyborg to overcome his insecurities. And that's the deal with most villians in the show, they're either drive heroes to be better like Blackfire and Malchior or simply add comedy and visual insanity like Mad Mod and Control Freak.
My point is Teen Titans is not that show about fleshed out villians like Mr.Freeze, it's just a show about teenagers dealing with their teenage problems as well as working as team while also defeating some bad guys.
Oh yeah for sure, I get that, these villains sections are more of just what I personally feel about the villain, whether it be design, motive, etc. and a lot of the times I try to mention if the villains is just serving a purpose for our hero to shine more when talking about the episodes in which they appear. Also thank you very much, I am quite new to editing and doing things like this so it may be sloppy and it takes some time so I really appreciate the kind words.
@Nemnem139 I almost forgot, thank you for pointing out Beast Boy and Raven are nothing more than friends in the show. Sure, it's well-known they had a thing for each other in the comics, but there's no bond like that between them in 2003 show and Terra was the only girl that Garfield had feelings for.
Which is why it's great the show only focused on Robin and Starfire not making too much soap opera and just focusing on natural relationships building
I just bingewatched all your Teen Titans videos, and they're very entertaining to watch! Your analysis of each season and its episodes is really well done, you definitely deserve more attention for it! Can't wait for the season 5 video! (Also I agree, season 4 is the best Teen Titans season :3)

12:06 I actually found it harder to believe that Cyborg could take down Beast Boy with a single punch. BB could literally use the same techniques he used on Demon Starfire to knock out Cyborg. Not to mention that Cyborg not only has thirty-five weak-points, but he also rarely thinks to use his more powerful attacks. Beyond that, the last two episodes of the season shows BB winning the fight against his demonic counterpart for the most part. Starfire seemed more evenly matched against her inner demon, and Cyborg was a basically a punching bag for his evil self. All that aside, this is a great👍 video.
Yeah the fight after they swap enemies just seemed rushed which is probably why Cyborg went Saitama on demon BB. And thank you, I appreciate the kind words and am glad you watched!

Dang, as a young fan of both TTG and the original Teen Titans, I absolutely agree, S4 was peak cinema for the series, especially with the sensitive themes shown (racism with Troq, PTSD with Masks, and the “literal demons” thing in the finale.)
I only just started to watch the original TT series after watching TTG since I was 10, and I guess this is what then made me a (un)official Teen Titans superfan. 😂

After watching the hate for TTG I never understood it then I watch the original TT and man I can say the hate is justified the series gets cancelled after such an amazing season and a good movie to give a parody show that makes fun of the original being abruptly cut it's a real shame because they knew theyd get higher ratings if they released TTG straight after the show was cancelled to lure TT fans in it's really disgusting that they would do that and TT needs to be talked about wayyy more than TTG, one show is emotionally written for adults and for kids and the other I wouldn't even show my kids from how bad it is
Yea the old show clears TTG, but some of the hate I’d say was overblown, it’s not like the og was cancelled because of GO and GO does have some genuinely funny moments. And I have seen people say TTG made them check out the og so it’s not all bad.
@@Nemnem139 yeah I gotta admit I wouldn't have watched the og if it wasn't for TTG so that's a positive I just think the hate for it was due to the OG being cancelled and this airing instead which reminded fans of the og and annoyed them I enjoyed the crossover though it was really funny
Actually though, Raven can’t fly as well or as fast as Starfire (or Beast Boy for that matter) can. She doesn’t necessarily fly but rather levitate and just kinda glides through the air. So her carpooling with Cyborg makes sense.
On the level of cartoons, this is on the same level as Season 5 of Breaking Bad.
Haven’t seen breaking bad myself actually but I’ve heard how great it is so I can only assume I’d agree lmao
