The thing with this ID is it purely set up with discard allies in mind. And while you can just say "dont lose clash" or "just evade" we are getting effects that just straight laugh at that. Forced bleed and burn mean anyone getting a shield for discarding is useful. We also have a few unclashable attack for the non evade ones to deal with. The fact that Meursault also gets a bonus damage up for people discarding, the next turn, means you can start this chain turn 1, without minor issues and then have a healthy team turn 2 following a higher damage Meursault. While I do think the sinking is not grand and solo is weird because you lack his passive at all, hes still a good ID to shield allies with. Also never snooze on +1 clash power
@@Smis1337 I mean its more the case solo wise he loses quite alot of value and your a solo player so its a fair to state he not great, that way wise. Just more a rant from me at what people as a whole are saying in general.
@@drenin777 i’m looking moreso at the screwloose wallop synergy, because you can definitely bring his hp to a considerable amount with shield and benefit from the damage buff surgery gives. more of a silly idea but any excuse to use screwloose wallop over regret is good enough for me
Hes deffinitly better in a full Dieci than Solo or few Dieci Also idk about the Sinking infliction problem, on my experience hes somehow VERY consistent 8/10 more fun than playing Deluge Team and i can finally use Butler Ish Support Passive
I'm glad I wasn't imagining it when I felt that he kinda sucks with more than one slot. Dieci Mersault is just another team player id for him lmao. Hopefully we get at least 2 more Dieic to flesh out the team. Discard isn't exactly a comp that synergizes, when it's split between tremor and sinking (not even very good sinking application either).
He seems to fill the niche as a discard leader, currently not as good for sinking has its a 0/-2/0-10 on count, but hes mainly for providing large amounts of shield with his unique effects and being a solid clasher for a meursault id
@@honzikca8757 its the same with every character except the walpurgis ids, if you want the character roll for it because 400 shards is not cheap and the rate up banners for the specific sinners with the new id dont come for another 1-2 months
I am a new player and i got him and uptied him fully, but i don't have any other discard characters. Can i try getting close to his full potential without discard units?
if you can get a good sinking team, then he’s good enough, so long as you treat him more like a W corp unit (building erudition for a stronger skill 3)

Imo if you want to, spark him, if not do what smis said and go spark ids in the next walpurgis
Do not roll for standard characters, you can get them literally anytime with shards.
