[Limbus Company] Rarest Fusion Gift (Hoarfrost Footprint)

- Wanted to call this the "Rarest EGO Gift" but then I remembered that Lunar Memory exists... Shame.. Second Rarest then I guess, tied with Wholeness. They both need 2 other gifts from 2 specific packs, but Hoarfrost Footprint makes you fight Baba Yaga and Cyborgs/Pink Shoes so it's 10x more annoying to get.
Anyway, it's a very good EGO Gift for Sinking teams, it pretty much activates all conditions on turn 1. In human fights everyone goes to -45 SP on turn 1, in abno fights it's even more easier to stack up sinking than it already is, and in solos it's amazing, stacking up sinking every time you get hit, perfect. Doesn't work with evades I guess womp womp.
Had to get ingredient gifts for this 3 times just for the intro lmao, numbingly resetting floor 1 packs to guarantee at least one of the 2 for half an hour each.
Also, both Yi Sang solos are from the same run, changed the ID on Floor 5.
Same with both Suncliff solos, same run.

Another annoying thing is that I'm pretty sure both of the packs that you need to get the ingredients can only show up on floor 1 and 2 in the hard MD.
Also, haunted shoes is keywordless meaning you can't use fusion or keyword refresh to search for it. Wholeness is much more common since both Nagel und Hammer Scriptures and Squalidity are bleed.
The update next wednesday will increase the odds of pack exclusive gifts showing up so hopefully that will make it a bit less annoying.

So: if wiki tells truth, automated factory only appears at floor one in hardmode, plus on the first floor there is no shop, only rest spot, and you can't even sacrifice starting gifts for fusion to get shoes because *drumroll* it's a keywordless gift. It ALSO doesn't have event associated with it, so floor's boos reward is quite literally the only place you can get them. Now, there's resting spots at floor 1, start of floor 3, end of floor 4 and end of floor 5, which means if you also want to get and use second fusion gift for the sinking team you have to get it's components before the end of floor 4. Goodluck getting both nightmare and portrait from one shop, one reward and one resting spot
Automated factory can appear on floor 2 too. Good luck finding it in the shop tho, had to spend 320 starlight on rerolls to get it once.

The chicken feet I would still get sometimes but I've never gotten the pink shoes even 1 time when I got lunar memory for 2 times

Handheld Mirror(Nelly) needs 1 specific ego gift from a specific pack, but also 1 ego gift you can get from multiple other packs + an event.
Same thing with Unsent Letter(Dongrang/Dongbaek).
Wholeness(Ncorp), yes, is the same as Hoarfrost Footprint, needing 2 ego gifts from 2 specific packs but Hoarfrost forces you to fight Baba Yaga which makes it more annoying, at least imo.
For me the unloving is an obvious choice because it gives you tier 3 gifts more often
@@Smis1337 the N Corp ones are both also bleed keyword so the chance to get them is higher than the shoes
hahaha.... I have trying to get this gift for ages. Goal was to complete the compendium... still haven't got it. I have even seen Lunar multiple times in MD4.
Worst part is, this was the first of the new fusion ego gifts I chose to go after, but I now have all the other ones and still not got Hoarfrost Footprint.

does the starlight debt actually subtract starlight? or does it behave as if you got 0
It does subtract.
You basically spend the starlight you own before starting the run + whatever starlight you get from event cards. If the total amount you spend during the run is greater than the starlight you got at the end of the run, it's a net negative.
You can't even craft these gifts?
I think you can actually craft exclusive gifts, or at the very least the Ncorp ones.
You can craft Frozen Cries, since it's a sinking EGO Gift, but not Haunted Shoes, since it's a keywordless ego gift.

@@schnozgaming989 don't think so(?), fusion just prioritizes gifts with a keyword.
MAYBE you can get keywordless gifts if you, for example, craft a poise gift but you own every poise gift in the pack you're in.
