Totally worth it!!! Can play every PSP, N64, Dreamcast, Naomi, and Sega Saturn game you throw at it. Plus you have a fair amount of stable GameCube emulation. Also with Armbian and Manjaro you can play small Indie Games as well as old Windows games. Also you got scammed this board is supposed to cost $83.
PSP settings! Auto 1:1 basically means it will render to the size of your display, pixel for pixel. Change that setting to boost the speed significantly! 🙂
@@Pridetoons I don't think you can overclock in android, but can't quite remember. Pretty sure that was only a feature in emuelec and perhaps batocera.... Saying that, it's not really an "overclock", more of a "clocked correctly" :-)
Hi Wicked and thanks for this review. I am not sure this package represents the best offer in term of emulation software and hardware (only 2GB out of 4 possible). Currently the best would be trying Batocera or Emulec as I'm quite happy with the first one. As for the specifications the ODROID N2+ also have an SD slot and while I never tried it also supports eMMC. Side note : Do you expect to test the ODROID GO ULTRA which is basically based on the same board in the near future ?
Nice to see you reviewing more SBCs as I've been keen to try the N2+ as its one of the better Odroid devices but as you say its a bit dated when compared to newer chips. Wicked video!
Personal recommendations and tips are you should fully overclock the Odroid N2+ and use emmc storage for all your operating systems! Use Retro Arena for Linux Emulation because it's actively being developed. For Android Emulation use either Slash TV or Lineage OS. Also there is an SD card slot on the Odroid N2+.
@@WickedGamerCollector What is your favorite Frontend? Not sure I ever heard you mention which is your favorite. I used to use BigBox but, for MANY genuinely good reasons...Batocera is far better.
Hi mate just got myself One of these for a bargain however I do have to set it up myself and am not brillaint , do you have a step by step guide or no anyone who does for this n2+
you should review it with a build optimized for the n2+ and running emelec 4.6 to show the difference. It also looks like its not set to the correct clock speed too.
AVP ont the Jaguar looked so next level on the photo's in the magazines, but I was quite disappointed when I finally played it in a emulator. Don't get me wrong... the creators of the game did a phenomenal job on this meager 24 bit sustem, but it was severly limitted game
I love the Odroid SBCs. I've been using a UX4 in all aluminum case for emulation with Android for years. It works great with everything up to PSP and can play a lot of PSP games. The N2+ is a bit more powerful than the XU4.
Hi dude. When are you going to review the mega expensive SUPER CONSOLE X BLAZE? I've been patiently waiting month after month for somebody like you to review this high-end product but there are no RUclips videos, no reviews, no nothing. I don't want to buy this expensive item only to be sorely let down. I would much prefer somebody like you who has plenty of cash to burn to do the hard work on my behalf and provide me with a full review on what games it can handle and what games it can't handle. I trust that you will eventually get around to buying and reviewing this product considering that you have a mad collection of gaming consoles and no doubt must add that final piece to your gaming collection in order for it to be complete. Take care. :-)
Hey about that SUPER CONSOLE X BLAZE ... you mean the G6 that video is here. ruclips.net/video/_s94qzsZcDg/видео.html&ab_channel=WickedGamer%26Collector
Oh, wow! Silly me. How did I miss that? That's it! That is the video I was after. Thanks for that link dude, I really appreciate you going through the effort of making that video. It's a huge help in helping me decide whether or not I should go ahead and buy it.
If you have the time and don't mind, I have two questions that should be right up your alley:
Question 1) Of all the gaming consoles you have tested, which is your number 1 favorite? Because I'm inundated with too many gaming consoles to choose from, I don't know which one to buy. I don't care about the price. I just want to buy the world's best gaming console that can smoothly handle most gaming platforms all the way up to Gamecube would be most ideal. I need something good that can handle most old-school rpgs, turn-based strategy rpgs, survival horror, war, puzzle adventure and other strategy games like Dune. I would really love to play all the handheld console Fire Emblem games on the big screen, and especially Shining Force III on the Sega Saturn, and my sister would really love to play all the Animal Crossing games via the TV instead of using a handheld game console. My sister has been bugging me for many years about this problem. I would like to surprise her this coming Christmas and buy something good that would put a big fat happy smile on both our faces.
Question 2) Do all these high-end gaming consoles play games on a small screen? Is there any way to play these games via a full screen mode? If I had the choice, I would sacrifice graphics in order to play such games in widescreen mode on my 32" Panasonic LCD TV. If you can name that one intuitive gaming console whose games can easily transition into widescreen mode, then that may very well be enough for me to consider buying it. Yep!
Expensive!? This SBC costs $83 dollars on Hardkernel. I checked the link he posted and he got scammed. Also AmeriDroid sells this board too at a reasonable price.
The Odroid N2+ cost $83 what are you talking about? Both the Amlogic S922X and A311D are the most powerful and mature chipsets. The RK3588 is powerful but it's not mature yet. It's gaming capabilities are severely limited.

Haven't seen something from Odroid for quite some time now
any recommendations that can run psp avd n64 really well?
Nice showcase wicked , !!!
The Jaguar , how can you use the numberpad buttons ?
I need to change weapons in AVP , can you map the 10 buttons ?
I used to have the Atari jaguar that was the one game I wanted to get it never had it still looks worth playing now
