Sometimes you just have to stop and think about how great A7X have become.
I think its more that theyve become more confident. But what I appreciate about A7X is you can literally see not just a progression of skill or of taste but of age and experience. They burst on to the mainstream scene, TRL of all things in 2005 wanting to be this generations Guns n Roses. And they were at that age. They had the stage names and the attitude and the clothes. But I think it all changed once the Rev died. When Jimmy died I think they came back to this more serious about wanting to make a statement and last.

Yeah, The Stage is my absolute favorite A7X album, it is MENTAL.

The flowers are poppies, they basically represent the blood spilt in The First World War or just WWI in general. Common to wear one on Remberence days etc especially here in Australia

@iliasvelaetis9116 no problem my friend, I haven't listened to them before that song, I've heard of periphery but didnt really like that style of music. Reptile blew my mind away and made me listen to their entire discography, it does take some getting used to but when it clicks, it fucking clicks

In my interpretation, the video shows us as the "crowd" watching history on the stage, and it's exciting and thrilling to see the brutality, sort of like it would have been to be an audience member back in the coliseum. But then the video flips it and shows that we are not the crowd, we are the puppets in this play, being manipulated by the government into not only going along with this, but being active participants in the destruction. As a final plot twist it shows that the government are not the ones pulling all the strings, as they're also being manipulated by what seems to be some sort of higher power. In my opinion it's Satan, but you can draw your own conclusions as to who it's supposed to be.
I have the same interpretation but I think that its death not Satan. To add to it, I think the ending symbolizes new beginnings after. Maybe a nod to the quote about how we will fight the next war, after nuclear war, with sticks and stones. It’s a stretch but the fact its in the winter could be a nod to nuclear winter
@@imnotwadewilsonsee3656 this can also be reinforced by when the figure at the end presses the button. I interpret it as a nuclear launch button. When a radioactive material is recorded on video, you get lots of noise and grain, which could explain the static. once the immediate aftermath is over we fall into nuclear winter, and only a small few survive

it's been a long time since I've watched the videoclip to this song, recently I've been thinking more about war and this kind of stuff, this was kind of horrifying lol, seeing how through every stage of the human race there was hate, war, something to drive one against the other and people still seem to insist on recreating all the mistakes we've done, we've learned before, maybe because hatred still lives inside us, maybe because that's what fills some people's pockets and fuck all the lives that are taken in the process, I'm just baffled that this cycle doesn't seem to end, as much as I hate to admit, I don't think it will
