Yep , a friend bought a pallet in April with a manifest sheet . Every box was filled with Christmas garland, and that was not on the list . That was all they had for $450.
This is why it is critical that you find out the companies policy regarding accuracy of the pallet before you buy. Also, if you have a manifest and none of the items are there, that is bait and switch and usually is not legal in most states. I would have them follow up and even go to the BBB if they are unwilling to work with them.
@@FlippinAintEasy the Better Business is just a cover for if they're a member you may get no absolute satisfaction with the Better Business Bureau... there's a certain amount of trust & consistency you need to have with the supplier... it also helps having a lot of experience going through pallets... Lindsey out of Kansas City has run stores and has a lot of experience... having been an active eBay seller for years along with running a pallet store, she's now doing Facebook Marketplace for business, local pickup... along with her nutty snacks she's selling at a local flea market.... she does ship....Laxvespa-LosAngeles

I can see why selling liquidation would turn many resellers off, especially if you’re new. I am passionate about reselling, mainly in collectible categories, and it is my full time income. I have to clean items from time to time but my buy cost is super low so I don’t feel so bad either trashing or donating an item that takes more time than it’s worth. We all should know our minimum $/hr rate and try to raise it if anything, but I understand that when there’s potential money on the table it’s hard to just give it away, even if you’re just getting your initial investment back.
Jon, be cautious in cleaning dirty things. Use a long handled brush, wear gloves and a mask, and take it outside to clean if possible. Don’t take the risk of breathing in a pollutant. Thanks for all the tips.
I’ve only purchased one pallet and really lost but I want to buy pallets but I really don’t know as the only pallet place is in Wisconsin 12hours from me that I think I could come out buying pallets
There are places online that will ship these pallets out to you if you can get in cheaply on the cost of the actual pallet. One thing I would consider doing is talking to the manager of the pallet place and let them know what kind of items you are looking for to see if they can work you a deal on that kind of pallet. Some may not be willing to do this but if you can make this a long term arrangement both parties could benefit. May be worth a try.
We haven’t done any pallet liquidation purchases, but we are open to the idea. Good to know what to watch out for if we decide to. As always Great info, thanks for sharing!😎👊

Then they should not give the buyers any manifestos regardless its dishonest and that's exactly why they do it because they keep the items.
