Daniel's 70 Weeks Prophecy

This is a brief presentation on the 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel, based on the continuous historical interpretation of Bible Prophecy. This contains some of the most important prophetic statements in the Old Testament; providing the chronology for the Messiah, fulfilled in Jesus Christ. It describes the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which opened up the Gospel Age and eventual reconciliation of mankind to God Almighty. 70 prophetic weeks (490 actual years) commenced from the edict of the Persian King Atraxerxes II in 457 BC and concluded with the rejection of the Jews in 34 AD. Christ confirmed the new covenant by giving His body and blood at Calvary. Not only was He anointed as the Most Holy, He came to anoint people with the Holy Spirit, from Pentecost onwards.
