Just missed by “inches”, Bellever forest next to Postbridge and Haytor Quarry below the rocks. Also whole of the Dartmoor is no flight zone for drones unless You’ve obtained permission form land owner.
I live a bit below Haytor and was up there last night star gazing in t-shirt and shorts, with not a drop of wind or sound. Despite the stars it was verrrrry dark on the moors.
Not on this trip, two weeks in and around Dartmoor and South Devon.. Retirement beckons next summer, and our caravan will be doing a grand tour.. meanwhile I've subscribed to your channel so I'll be filling out my bucket list.. Thanks again, and good luck in the future
Great couple of videos. Love the area. I’m doing a week of hiking & wild camping there in September, really looking forward to it. Just to note for future trips to Dartmoor, apparently drones are not allowed on the moor. Be worth checking with Dartmoor authorities as things change frequently like the camping areas 😊😊. Thanks
What say oh wow all nature view it loving wow yellow and green hiking place geeras on stone wow I love horses to much all u expilan nice be carefully on cold.
Just watched your video on Exmoor and now Dartmoor (close to home), and now subscribed! I really enjoyed both, you’re naturals and you’re both lovely. Production quality is super with great photography and on-point editing. Not least your videos are informative and clearly well researched. Look forward to working my way through earlier videos and of course future ones. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. 😊
Thanks for the videos, i watched episodes 1 and 2 after interrupting my reading of the Hound of the Baskervilles to see what the terrain was like from Arthur Conan Doyels story in real life! Beautiful country side very different from my home in Bellbrook Ohio usa.
