I don't recall exactly when I heard this song (by Celtic Thunder) but think I was over 70) I wonder what Mary knew, as she watched her son grow into a man. Had God prepared her for the horror her son would have to endure - endure because of our sins, that God cannot look upon.

People don't give Mary enough credit for being the birth mom of Jesus, she was still an innocent child and just followed God's word. What a responsibility to the world.
Remember too that women who got pregnant out of marriage were stoned and at first Joseph wasn’t going to marry her, Mary risked her life saying yes. Thank you Blessed Mother for saying yes.
