Canadian twins Chip and Pepper Foster from Winnipeg hosted their own Saturday Morning television show titled "Chip and Pepper's Cartoon Madness." It aired on NBC and was produced by DiC (the same company responsible for cartoons like Inspector Gadget, The Littles, Heathcliff, Kidd Video, Care Bears, Kissyfur, Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors, M.A.S.K., The Real Ghostbusters, Dennis the Menace, Popples, Dinosaucers, Beverly Hills Teens, StarCom, ALF, ALF Tales, The New Archies, COPS, Slimer! and The Real Ghostbusters, The Super Mario Bros. Joe, Swamp Thing, Hammerman, ProStars, Wish Kid, Where's Waldo?, season 2 of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures), In it the two brothers play the part of cartoon bulldogs who escape into the real world through a hole in their cartoon. They hosted this melange of comedy sketches, interviews, and repeats of classic cartoon shorts like Popeye the Sailor Moon, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Heckle & Jeckle, and Captain Caveman took up most of the airtime. The animated Swamp Thing also aired the show in 2 parts. The theme song was by Cristina d'Avena. Music by Eric Allaman.

Actually, a bit later that year, NBC was on the verge of replacing the cartoons with the 10-year endeavor of TNBC brought on the success of _Saved by the Bell_ - and they did.
Can you post the episodes "Chip & Pepper try to save their show from cancellation", "Giant Playground", "Guest Stars Mark & Brian", "Ecology and Environment", "Mazes", "Competition", "Roller Blading", "Episode 9", "Episode 10", "Episode 11", "Episode 12" and "Episode 13"?
One of NBC's last ditch attempts to have a lasting Saturday morning cartoon pivot that ultimately got unfairly canned in the end. And for that, you can think Bayside Belding and Zack Morris.
Holy shit. The guys skip and treybor are based on. I had no idea they were modelled on anyone in particular. That is wild
A real mighty blast from the past. I miss the good old days of Saturday mornings.
