What most impresses me about Blackberry Smoke is their dedication to musicanship. Thank God a group has emirged that carries on the tradition of musicianship which defines the genre of Southern Rock. The symbiotic guitar relationship Paul Jackson and Charlie Starr share is another characteristic of a guitar legacy left by the likes of Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, The Allman Bros., The Outlaws and the list goes on and on. These guys are something special. Thank God they're so young! Here's a SAFETY TIP for the band: 1. DO NOT CONSIDER BOARDING RICKETY, HALF-ASS, FLY-BY-NIGHT AIRCRAFT!!! 2. ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT!!!

How are these guy's not all over the radio stations and travelling the states and Canada? Their good as gold from what I heard the 6 songs randomly I pick out today and they didnt hand us a bunch of pop country music crap like today's junk I'd but all a round no problem maybe two lol

I saw y'all with ZBB in PA last October. I was annoyed because my friend insists on seeing the opening bands and I had never seen one that I appreciated....and then BBS took the stage. I have listened to them ever since...and enjoyed every second!
Love this band. If Lynyrd Skynyrd and the black crows had a baby... Not to mention they also remind me of moon dog mane. Just an all around southern country music band with a great sound. I love these guys!

If you go to the far southside it's "deep elm".It's the nightlife area of dallas and known for it's prostitutes, gamblers, hustlers, drug dealers, and bars. some out of towner asked for directions and couldn't understand our accent and that's how it became known as "deep ellum".
I wish y'all would just swing through my neck of the city and do a random acoustic set. I'd love to sit in if I could keep from exploding from excitement, either way I'll smoke you down just for playing.
I have just got to listen to Blackberry Smoke for the first time, This Is Really Good stuff, man they swing like hell. If you were to a little Rory Gallagher & Thin lizzy they would be no stopping you. Go for it boys. Rory did also Black Star Riders do acoustic sets.
