I love that Todd Terry (47) still looks like he's about 27 years old and the inert d-bags texting behind him are fading into absolutely NOTHING as we speak! They will never understand how enormous his legacy is in shaping the dancefloor mp3's they steal today! Personally, I love his early-90's Freeze work the best but, it goes back even further because he pioneered breaks with house in the 80's, hip hop bassline drops over sprays of machine gun-staccato drums, live turntable FX, ninja sampling of pop songs. So unparalleled, he's still the gold standard!
Breaks my heart after all these years to see a proper house DJ like Todd waste his time with this lot loitering in the background, it's more like a funeral wake than a party. TT's beats as sharp & snappy as ever, never fails to rock a floor (apart from here of course 😂)
Que horrible ver jovenes asi!! quien le dijo a Todd que fuese ahi donde en vez de rendirle tributo a su trayectoria, es una especie de burla a su persona y trabajo y carrera como productor y dj. Abur!!
This guy deserves his status. What a legend he has become in the house scene. His production skills and remixes are some of the best in the house scene.
Todd the God.. the word legend gets used to often but todd is a true pioneer of house music and I've been lucky enough to see him a bunch of times.. he never disappointed me.. my favourite Producer/DJ of all time
Love the little boiler room sets but always seems to only be 1/2 people who genuinely appreciate the fact they are in the presence of an incredible DJ, up close and personal... just sat there looking at their phones....
@@steveanderson7864 I'm afraid I only pointed out how pathetic it was to revive a dead thread so you can defend an e-girl---one who will never see, nor be affected by, either of your comments.
The year is 2022, streamed this over my studio sound system for the past 7-8 yrs...and myself and clients in attendance STILL start moving at the @13:42 mark, that transition will last FOREVER🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤
I went though a ton of these videos and watched the different dj's mix closely, and even though a few others have some fancy tricks and maneuvers, this guy is by far the best when it comes to what is most difficult and counts the most, blending the tracks seamlessly.. was blown away, todd terry should be top dj in the world, he is the best based on actual djing, not production or popularity,
+John Bissonnette well I dont know if you heard about Jeremy Underground but he is an awsome Dj and does jump and wave his hands. And Louie Vega is also not far away from jumping like crazy. Not the way you're expressing your feelings towards music show how good you are. I think it strictly depends on the personality.
Ya I get that. I just do go for charging people $300.00 for a ticket, then jumping around to compensate for fake DJ'ing to a pre arranged set. No integrity in that on any level. I like seeing a DJ actually DJ and pick songs. They don't need to be all flashy for me. I'm from a time when DJ's were in a dark corner and people sometimes didn't even know they were there.
An absolute living LEGEND! Did anyone go to the Hard Times rave in Leeds back in '95? I was at the Camden Palace one in London but wish I had gone to Leeds!
Everything seems so smooth and easy. Mr. Tod Terry it´s just like the wine, im sorry he isn´t getting the proper atention because he is a legend in house music. I still ear his session eight from MOS17 years ago and he stills perfect in our days.
Aye. Me an' 4 mates from just outside Edinburgh drove down. Loved Leeds. Went regular as it was the best atmosphere during clubbing years over ANY town/city. Used to go to Ronson and Basics a lot too. Mental nights. Sure my mate has still got the Hard Times gate-fold double vinyl. Must ask him to dig it out again. Might not move as quick but can still nod me head.....
Bro...I was today years old when I noticed DJ Sneak over to the right...good gawd take me back to my 2000+ pre-RUclips available mixes lol you either had to BE THERE, KNOW WHERE TO LOOK, or KNOW SOMEBODY LOO out of the 3 that sht won't exactly free, you want a DJ Sneak set you had to work for it some kind of way lol ❤❤🔥🔥❤❤
YES! I would say that the new producer/DJs owe everything to people like him, but they aren't even close to his musical abililities to produce music that even sounds somewhat similar. So, I guess they lost their way a long time ago. lol
This men is a fucking professional. house music is another part of your body and this is the real difference with another djs today. Maximun respect for the one father of house music.
That tune that kicks in @ 26:00 gives me the bumps...............Im sure its a Todd Terry remix from the album Todd Terry Project* - Todd Terry Project Album 1992?
Hve to agree with the comments here. The crowd haven't got a clue what they're involved in. On another note - good to see Todd doing a kind of more tech-house mix. I always thought he did this better than the vocal soul mixes. Trouble Anderson was always the one for that, I felt.
he officially takes you in at 25:56....from that point on those kids should have been rocking off, but Terry has a big room sound and these kids might not know about how hard your supposed to rock to this
Look at the Milennials in the back drinking PBRs? lol I remember being an underrage teen dancing to Todd Terry's amazing productions in NYC at Trax on W.19th. Couldn't wait to get his singles when they hit the shops back then.
I gotta agree with Peter. Got a hot Latin girl grooving in my face (brown top on the left), Todd Terry on the decks, and everyone seems like they'd rather be somewhere else. I guess if you put some soul-less clown on the decks like SkillerX or even DeadMau5, playing a bunch of electronic noise, they'd be all over the floor.
i wonder if he is thinking at least my true fans will see this on youtube.. i swear he gives that look a few times, and the i wish i was just doing this in my living room w/ my friends look...
Fffff Me. T.T. still does the bizzo. Sshhiiiiit. Still remember the fine art of the 90's when all got bass and pianoed out with some pretty nice M.C.ING. keep the Fuckln party alive
I love that Todd Terry (47) still looks like he's about 27 years old and the inert d-bags texting behind him are fading into absolutely NOTHING as we speak! You've said it all
He make great house tunes too! ^^
Jolar70 PREACH.
Why go back to school? Sneak is one of the biggest and most arrogant d-bags and hes texting.
kerri chandler oblivion........dem mafackas are lost in the oblivion
Breaks my heart after all these years to see a proper house DJ like Todd waste his time with this lot loitering in the background, it's more like a funeral wake than a party. TT's beats as sharp & snappy as ever, never fails to rock a floor (apart from here of course 😂)
every time... who invited these dudes like lol
I totally aggree with you! Can't stand this ignorant behavior. So I just listen to this great house music and don't watch the background :)
he has always no fun . Same face as always he's bored of himself 🤣🤣🤣
Que horrible ver jovenes asi!! quien le dijo a Todd que fuese ahi donde en vez de rendirle tributo a su trayectoria, es una especie de burla a su persona y trabajo y carrera como productor y dj. Abur!!
at least he's still throwing some proper house choonz

The miserable bitch behind Todd in the white top on her phone. It's pure ignorance.
Dan 2016 Yo settle down tough guy 😂 no need to be a neckbeard dweeb.
@@steveanderson7864You don't need to be her knight in shining armor either, the comment is a year old
123cjg Your valiant defense of calling women miserable bitches is duly noted for the record 😂
@@steveanderson7864 I'm afraid I only pointed out how pathetic it was to revive a dead thread so you can defend an e-girl---one who will never see, nor be affected by, either of your comments.
Without these guys... U would not hear of the term of house music. Big up!
love the LADY, DANCING IN GREY
The year is 2022, streamed this over my studio sound system for the past 7-8 yrs...and myself and clients in attendance STILL start moving at the @13:42 mark, that transition will last FOREVER🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤
2 house legends in the boiler room... ( DJ Sneak and Todd Terry)
I went though a ton of these videos and watched the different dj's mix closely, and even though a few others have some fancy tricks and maneuvers, this guy is by far the best when it comes to what is most difficult and counts the most, blending the tracks seamlessly.. was blown away, todd terry should be top dj in the world, he is the best based on actual djing, not production or popularity,
I e tried to mix like him. I can’t. You have to know your tunes inside out. And I mean inside out.
Great set. Thx for loading it up. House is still alive...
House Legend for EVER!!!! Love your music Todd!!!
Shiiiit love how he closed that mix..Apache!!!!! I would have gone NUTS!!
yes yet another of my top five DJ legendary T. Terry
That's how a DJ should do it. No jumping around waving jazzy hands. Playing good music and actually mixing. The best.
Ain't that the truth!
Don't try and add him as a friend on Facebook though. Or try and check the message that you get.
John Bissonnette Why what does it say?
+John Bissonnette well I dont know if you heard about Jeremy Underground but he is an awsome Dj and does jump and wave his hands. And Louie Vega is also not far away from jumping like crazy. Far too few views on this, Todd Terry is the father of many grooves.
Kids: Listen and enjoy :)
U are truly a legend bro... Greetings from Athens..
An absolute living LEGEND! Did anyone go to the Hard Times rave in Leeds back in '95? I was at the Camden Palace one in London but wish I had gone to Leeds!
Love the way Sneak is just hanging around in the background, legends.
Everything seems so smooth and easy. Mr. Tod Terry it´s just like the wine, im sorry he isn´t getting the proper atention because he is a legend in house music.

Heard him live twice at the arena Middlesbrough and basics in Leeds didn’t disappointed both times ,,top dj
Todd da gawd. My love for house is rooted in this mans music.
YES! I would say that the new producer/DJs owe everything to people like him, but they aren't even close to his musical abililities to produce music that even sounds somewhat similar. So, I guess they lost their way a long time ago. lol
Agreed. People are going more commercial house.
TT it´s very exciting!!!!! Omg, he is sleeping behind those glasses.
Saw Todd T early 90's, was da bomb then, this is pure quality :)
YES! Not an awkward beat or filler-fluff in any of his mixes.
whooah first tune is a BANGER!
This men is a fucking professional. house music is another part of your body and this is the real difference with another djs today. Maximun respect for the one father of house music.
