there will never be another David Bowie, just so much brilliant music, poetry, talent. i was so lucky...1987 I was EMI Promotions Manager and met him, shook his hand had a brief but wonderful talk then introduced him to 30 people from the NZ music industry, 20 I had only met that day, and by miracle I remembered everybody's name (No additives that week, until job was finished) I casually introduced. to my astonishment he spoke and said something charming and interesting to each one. he was so modest, so funny, within 1 hour of going on stage.Glass Spider Tour. I had loved his music had All his albums. I was a fan from 1976 when i was 11 and attended the Stage Concert featuring Adrian Belew (arguably the best guitarist in the world since Jimi Hendrix. i was only 14 and alone 50 feet from the stage. i could see his face. i cannot find a word to describe the intense unreal experience being enclosed inside a stadium with 60,000 others enjoying magic for the gods. so sorry for the length. best ajp

Thank you for this video. It's Christmas morning 2017. John and David we're really close. After John's death. David was there for his son. I don't think most people realize that John Lennon was on several of David Bowie's albums guitar and backup singer. I know for fact that they're sailing across the universe to a better place. Thank you very much for this Christmas present. Their music will live forever.

Wow! Never heard this version before. So epic. Bowie's voice was phenomenal and still had the high falsetto. Lennon sounding so different too. You could tell Bowie was in his element here looking like a wax figure. Classic recording of two of the most influential artists of all time.

this isnt a fake, there are a few of these out there. Its a studio outtake from when they were getting the songs down solid for recording the album. I cant find it on youtube but Ive heard a similar recording with them working out the kinks on Fame.
