It does! I just haven't had the time to work on the docs yet. 😅 I use it in some of the examples. Both with jacks and pots. It's the Minimus shroud by Rogue_Designs: cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/minimus-hotend-cooler-system
I just discovered your channel. Great content. Subbed 🙂 Love the 3D panel printing. That's my intention too. What are you using for the Eurorack rails? The only rails I can find so far are really expensive. Do you have a link where you purchased them from? Thanks.
Hey Benji! Thanks so much for this. Really pleased with the results but it wasn't particularly strong on my Makerspace's Prussa with defaults. Have you done much experimentation with print settings? What material/infill do you use? Any other tips for the print? (sorry 3D printing noob here!)
Oh, i noticed you also asked the same question on Reddit. Pasting my answer here in case others would like to know as well: --- You're welcome! Glad you like it. It definitely isn't as strong as aluminum/PCB panels, but I've never experienced any of them break under normal use. Nothing special -- eSUN PLA+, 0.2mm layer height, 210C, 20% inflill. Make sure to print the panels face down. I've been printing with eSUN PETG recently, but that's because I've also been printing rails and I'm too lazy to swap materials back and forth. Heh. They do come out a little tougher, but the fonts tend to become less readable.
Your method is great for proof of concept and for rapid prototyping.
Thanks!! It's been working great for me so far. 🙏
exciting!!
Thanks!!
Nice, we've been thinking of using openscad for such designs. Will definitely try your plugin first!
Thanks! Let me know how you like it. ☺
Wow this is so good. Im fairly new to diy eurorack and this is exactly what i was hoping to find. Lovely program OpenSCAD btw.
Thank you Benji
Hey! Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you found it helpful. And I agree, OpenSCAD is great. :D
Great video Benjie!!! So want a 3d printer now!! So many things on the list tho 😂
Thanks! DO IT!!
Me too, in lock down I started my modular and printed all my front panels on my cheep 3D printer. :)
Hey that's awesome! I started during the lockdowns too! 😊
Nice lib, maybe it miss an option to get jacks rotated 90° (or I missed something ?)
What is your printer's orange head?
