It would be nice if people could put their own work into finding their own fish. Even in fresh water I get impeded by people who have seen me catch fish. Not ok.
how do you have your livescope pole and setup set out. I struggle to get clear imagery that has the fish, lure splash and lure when retrieving all at once. What do you suggest?
I’m running a HDS Pro 16 with Active target 2 that are running off the 24v setup that my electric motor is connected to also. When it comes to seeing lure splash, lure and fish all at once it depends where the fish is sitting in the water column. If the fish is lower you’ll have to tilt the pole down to see it, but to see you splash you’ll obviously have to tilt the pole up. If I have a fish lower in the water column, I’ll spot the fish, cast and tilt the pole up while my lure is in the air, see the splash and my lure, then follow my lure down to where to fish is in the water column then retrieve.

do you ever take a barra for a feed ? i imagine they would be tasty just caught .
Very rarely mate. We get an abundance of reef fish here that taste better and are easier to clean/fillet. So that’s mainly why I don’t keep them.
