The song 'Ab ke Saawan Aise Barse' is one of her best classical fusion songs. Should be worth listening to.

It is so surprising that you guys have still not checked out Pehla Nasha. The last song in the compilation today. It is a duet between Udit Narayan and Sadhana Sargam. You see Sadhana Sargam performing in the clip. It is among the best songs of 90s.

They are not like Sunidhi aur Shreya in Hindi, I don't know about Sujatha, But I have heard enough of Chitra Hindi songs she is superior to both even in HINDI (that's for Shreya fan atics, coz all sane Listeners know this very well and even Shreya also agree on this). I don't know why AR Didn't use Southern Singers for Hindi songs more, they would have killed and eat most of singer, they would be very good competitor for their counterparts like Alka Yagnik, Kavita n all..
@@anujsrawat I am not actually comparing them with hindi counterparts....this comparison was only for efra and weleska to understand with singers whom they know. Not comparing singing abilities but their presence and popularity in malayalam industry during a specific time.
Chitra herself says in an interview that she was replaced in hindi song because the producers wanted the hindi singer.@@anujsrawat

The lady who sang with Hariharan is a legendary singer “Sujatha”. Sings primarily in Malayalam and Tamil. Sang a lot for AR Rahman.
She is underrated because of other legends like K S Chithra as her contemporary.
Hariharan is so under-rated in terms of the reactions he get, especially from those outside India. The one who sang along with him is Sujatha, a malayalam singer(sung in other south Indian languages too), you should check out more of her songs, and also her daughter (Shweta Mohan's). They both are really great.

There is a world in india beyond bollywood, the south indian industry includes impeccable realistic movies and songs . I want you to discover them more. ( Kerala, tamilnadu, and so on). Ar rahman started from tamil. Anirudh sir is also from south india

You gotta checkout Shubha Mudgal ji's ( 2:33 to 3:11) songs from the movie Raincoat - live or studio versions. They are absolutely gorgeous - not to missed at all.
She has some beautiful pop tracks, and many Hindustani classical performances in addition to a handful of movie songs.

The mashups are better because of the lyrics. Your focus is more on the music side with little focus on the songs. I have heard you complain about Let Her Go and Husn mashup. But if you just look at the lyrucs, Husn is about one sided love and Let her go is literally asking to let it go. There is another mashup of Husn and Choo Lo and their lyrics match perfectly. Musically they may not sound better to you, but there is a reason such mashups are getting popular. So i suggest you should consider reading the lyrics and premise of the songs being mashed together to see why they are so popular.
