I miss the 80’s 90’s and early 2000’s music in both Bollywood and South Indian music. All the beautiful romantic melodies that pulled at your heart strings and had you humming the songs for days and weeks.. those were the golden era of music.
You have different taste in music. No need to force your taste on all people. There are some beautiful songs produced every year.

Indian music industry is still producing good and original songs not as much as before but yeah , and there are also some underrated channels for example. Suzonn , anuv jain , let's get louder etc.

At least they tried to add a new flavour in remakes few years back. Now they just take an old song and slap a mismatched edm beat over it and call it a song.

Because bollywood has resorted to constantly churning out remakes after remakes of 10/10 songs and making them 5/10, people now have shifted to listening to more regional songs. Pahadi, Bhojpuri, Malayalam, Telgu songs are quite trending.
Original has character but all the remix is like a disco version that is just meant for bar with alcohol and nothing else because nobody will be interested in listening it properly

Yes India is a tropical country, but we experience almost all seasons/ whethers - summer, winter, spring, rainy, etc. Depends what region/ where you are in the country ? East West North South of India has different geography, terrains, etc.
I think you should watch few India tourism, geography, incredible india, India- worlds most unique nation, etc videos on your own atleast if not on channel to broaden your knowledge about it.

I am okay with remix as long as it some old song that most people haven't heard/ don't remember... Like Phool gendawa from Heeramandi or even songs taken from other language, but as soon as they take a song from 2014 and remake it or some classic hit, it just makes me hate the singer and composer....

Though whole world don't care about remakes , samples etc but INDIA care a lot which is really good and they know the meaning of original but of course it's not applicable for other countries from Indian audience.

> The 2 remakes seem to be based on the second film version with the happier tone.
You guys should totally react to the Heeramandi series. There's a lot of drama, typical for SLB, but it's really beautiful. My only complains were one of the actress' acting and I felt that the main love story was kinda boring. But there is a whole lot else going on to still enjoy it. The songs were great too. Make it a members only thing on Feature Friday if it's too much to edit down for youtube.

I think the main issue is we don't have song writers that we used to have. If new song writing is not encouraged, Bollywood music will just be a box full of remakes

You should react to 90s/2000s remakes like Pardesiya, chadti jawani, saiyan dil mein ana re, kabhi aar kabhi paar, kanta laga, chodo anchal etc. These remakes were so good keeping the essence of the original yet sounding so modern, elevated. Today's remakes are just not good at all.
