I was honestly excitedly about this video when I saw the thumbnail, but not one Indian doing the challenge was shown in the compilation (Many non resident Indian tiktokers have done the challenge and Indian instagrammers) , calling Indian's "suprisingly" beautiful, saying the costume does most of the work when a black woman does the challenge, Comparing traditional Indian jewellery to the look in "Athens will burn", repeatedly mentioning Arabic culture and Princess Jasmine and finally deciding to try the trend quoting 'Arab Queen and King'.... It's not about taking offence it's about calling out on ignorance. Indian's aren't looking for validation through an app literally banned in the country but rather we'd appreciate if you take in to consideration these comments so you may improve the quality of videos released in the future. Much love ❤

I don’t want to excuse a homogenous country’s ignorance, so I’ll say this. I didn’t like when they said “Indians are SURPRISINGLY pretty”. I also did catch that they both said the girl who looked closest to their look (ethnically) was the prettiest… Finally, for the black woman with no hair, they didn’t comment on her beauty, just her outfit doing all of the work which I took as dismissive, or them not knowing how to find beauty in a black woman.
I’m putting this comment not to spread hate, but as a learning moment for some Koreans. I would love for you guys to see all people as beautiful, in the way you idolize your beauty standards.
