I tried to read the manual for information on making curvy path rather that straight line between keyframes, but I got confused as hell as well as not finding any solutions. Until I found and watch this video. My animation is the same. Making a curved ball motion. Thank you for the video. This kind is rarely posted.
For those who was having trouble with the P or control point Shortcut, try activating 3D path on the layer properties TOO besides of the peg properties :)
Curve Points made by clicking P can not be edited with easy ease like you said, it's actually very important to know this stuff, orient to path has to be done manually, could not find an auto option, thanks
I'm not sure. Mine just works? Do you have your keyboard preference set to ToonBoom Harmony?? If yes, and it's still not working you can try asking toonboom on twitter. They reply way faster than the forum or help staff.
wait... i re-asignated the letter P for other funtion, so, i don't know what's the name of the option that let you create points in the motion path. what's it's name?
OH CURSES! i'm so used to flaEHM! "animate" that i customized the shortcuts like it, so... i guess i'll stick to your advice next time and get used to the default shortcuts , thought :-/
The P is not working . please what are my doing wrong? Its so so time wasting ... Why can't the P just work!!! I have had to... Wait it worked. Then blast!!! Its not working again for another project.. What did I do to get it to work earlier.. I don't know.. Did I click d transform first or was it the translate tool. Please I feel there is somethingissing in this tutorial.. Why can't it just work peacefully d way u
This is me slowed down! lol. I'm from Newfoundland, we speak stupidly fast. I've been told by a few viewers that the listen to the videos at .5 or .75 speed. But you can also find everything I talk about in the help menu. So if you really want to take your time and go through something in particular that's a great supplement. Here's the one for motion paths :) docs.toonboom.com/help/harmony-15/premium/motion-path/about-motion-path.html?Highlight=motion%20paths
@@StylusRumble its not because your talking fast, the whole process was fast for me, or this was a bit too advanced for me. I am familiar with the basics of animation like the squish and stretch thing, anyway I am just trying to make someone throw a ball that's all.
I started working with ToonBoom like a week ago so I know there is tons to learn. And why picking a new color so complicated?? I worked with Adobe Photoshop for years and picking a color is very simple, its so confusing here.
oh my channel is definitely not beginner friendly lol. I made it for junior animators that I work with in a studio. There are some great channels out there that will be more helpful for you. These are probably the biggest channels that have tutorials for toonboom. Tony Ross also offers individual tutoring when he's available, if you're looking for a mentor. and the Toonboom learning portal is also quite good. excellent
Thank you so much!
thanks! very useful
How to Orient to Path using 3D Path? I Don't want to manually rotate it to follow the path.
I don't know of a way to do it. I think it would require writing some code and using an expression column. Beyond my skillset.
@@StylusRumble Toon Boom Harmony should add that option -- like in Adobe Animate Motion Path > Orient to Path for planes, flies etc.
Thank you
my drawing wont move if i choose 3d path :(( no one gonna answer me because it's so easy but i still have to ask
this sounds like a tech support issue.
how to hide this paths after this ?
shift + c
helpful thanks
Hi! How do I slow down or accelerate?
You can set ease on your keys, or add more keys.
@@StylusRumble Thank u so much!

thanks ^_^ You can send it to Stylusrumble@gmail.com
sweet! thank you!

No idea :D. I try to use the default hot keys for any program I use, so I don't need to adjust my preferences at every studio I go to.
