I'm kind of surprised it took you this long to check this one out. I read it back when it was first coming out in singles. I never miss out on a new geoff johns release
Oh totally. I only collect the collected editions (trade paperbacks, hardcovers, omnibuses, etc). But I heard a lot of my single issue friends raving about this series so I was really eager to snag the trade :) Have you heard if John’s is doing any more in this series currently?
@@TheComicBookReport Rumor has it Junkyard Joe is getting his series in October. And Redcoat is coming out this time next year. You should read the 80 page Giant #1.
@@TheComicBookReport well not officially but yea like they show in the back, they have like the next 5 arcs planned out lol, next is junkyard Joe, but idk how serious they are about release dates ?
Greetings to the comic book report ) Do you mind me asking if you do pre-launch reviews of upcoming indie comics? The reason for me asking is because I'm starting my own new series on amazon kdp and i will be launching the 1st issue round mid october. It's a printed paperback, though a digital version will also be available as well. Thanks for reading and kind regards, Vic
Hello! Congrats on your upcoming venture! I currently do not do indie review requests of this kind but who knows maybe in the future :) Wishing you success 📚💪
I only heard about it through RUclips and social media but it’s a Fantastic read, especially if you like post-apocalypse fiction or like wasteland stuff. And yeah Gary Frank turns out some gorgeous artwork for this series. 👏👏 Thanks for stopping by
@@MandoAllDay oh nice the Geoff Johns run I assume? Ha I started that run really good stuff, he made me really care about characters I had barely heard of 💪👏
This needs to be collected in hardcover asap!
I KNOW 😱
You've sold me on picking this up! This sounds great.
I sincerely hope you enjoy :)
I really loved visiting this title

@@tannerfetz5452 ugh I’m ready
To me it's like Firestorm (or some other nuclear-powered superhero like Captain Atom) meets Mad Max.
Firestorm meets max max 😂👏
Love that!!
Just bought this book, and then immediately bought Junkyard Joe to continue the story and it was just as good
I’m so happy you read and enjoyed them! I really liked them as well. I definitely plan to follow this universe as more books start coming out!

Good review 👍
I just read GHOST MACHINE #1 which introduced me to this character.

Nice video :) Which is the best Geoff Johns book to start with...the best overall story?
Great question! For my money I think his run on Green Lantern is my favorite I’ve read from him thus far! 📚
Thanks for watching 👍
