Thank you very much for the video. There is a timing mark and air bleeder point on the lower right side of the engine too. Again I really appreciate your time and effort putting together the video.

Thank you for all three videos! I am having trouble getting the piston back through, though. I ruined one ring in the process. Any help or tricks would be appreciated.

Sometimes a second set of hands helps with getting the cylinder to slide over the piston rings. Oil in the cylinder bore?

@@wfvs1500 Thank you for the quick reply!! I did oil it pretty well. I thought about using a spring compressor that I could rent from the local auto store. I wonder if that might work or if I would have enough space. Perhaps you have tried that before?

how much does the machine work cost and did they provide the piston or did you send it to them to use?

The shop i use charges $65.00 CAD, they are partnered with Rec Supply in Saskatoon who supplied the piston. The machine shop needs a piston when they bore the cylinder so they can get the piston skirt to cylinder wall clearance just right. Usually .002 to .005 thou.

do you still have the directions for that piston? I have the same one but no directions on where to put ring gaps!

Hey Brian, it seems that most service manuals say to stagger the ring end gaps evenly around the piston for initial install.
