Kenny vs Will was horrifyingly epic, but they put on a masterful performance that people spend too much time criticizing for being risky and not enough time praising it. The Iron Man Match at Revolution was the greatest match I've ever seen live. The wild thing is we also got the Texas Death Match between Mox and Hangman, as well as the Trios Title Match between The Elite and the House of Black... We were really spoiled that night. San Francisco waited 4 years for AEW to come around and man...with Dynamite, Rampage and Revolution - it was worth the wait.
A definite Honorable Mention is Hangman-Moxley Texas Death Match at Revolution 2023. I don't care for CZW and GCW style death matches. No excuse, but I have PTSD. It's well managed, but a death match can take me to my dark places. No thank you. However, Hangman is my guy. The feud with Mox is where Page finally got his direction back after being greatly diminished by CM in their title feud. Mox and Page were two guys who wanted to end the other guy. Brutal spots, wincing and nastiness. I had bad flashbacks for a day or two after The Texas Death Match. Totally worth it and I will never watch that match again.
I agree with this. I understand why people would like anarchy in the arena but it's just a bit too much for me. I enjoyed the more modest 4way that we got.

Ospreay and Omega went for damn near 40 minutes and felt like it was over in an instant. The two could have fought forever and it still wouldn’t have been long enough. It was beautiful, it was painful to watch at times, it made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me remember in great detail why I love pro wrestling as much as I do. I was there live for FD2, and I can confirm that it did not feel like 40 minutes. Went online because I was curious about actual match lengths and double taked seeing how long it actually was.
I don’t know what you guys were watching but felt like an hour and a half to me. Every exciting move they were doing just meant so little because they would spend the next five minutes recovering and just hit another big move immediately. The last twenty minutes went forever. I was genuinely bored
@CEJRAID Gotta say, I cannot even imagine that being the response to the match I just watched. None of what you described was what happened. I can understand not enjoying it, everyone has their own likes, but it was not a bunch of resting between moves whatsoever.

You know, I've turned the corner on "Gunther". Everything from his more refined look, to his, so far, near perfect run on the main roster... Nah, I'm perfectly fine forgetting about Walter and settling for Gunther. What a champ.
I wish the Triple Threat IC title match was just a LITTLE bit longer. Even 5 more minutes and I think it would have been perfect for me. Watching it Live was incredible
This has been a packed half-year of wrestling! Yeah kicking out of his finisher at one 35 minutes in didn't completely take me out of it or anything 😅 too much blood, too many false finishers.....it was a great sports entertainment match but it ain't wrestling.

Charlotte turning up in her puffer jacket dress thing was one of the funniest things this year
His number 2 & 1 made sense when he said he loves silliness and not have Omega/Ospreay wrestle kingdom match on his list.
Omega v Ospreay 2 was just incredible, no other words. Even my tired af Irish ass couldn’t help but be glued to it watching live. Those close calls from Kenny help make it one of my favourite matches ever if you ask me.
Yeah kicking out of his finisher at one 35 minutes in didn't completely take me out of it or anything 😅 too much blood, too many false finishers.....it was a great sports entertainment match but it ain't wrestling.
This list was great, wish it was less mainstream American wrestling centric, but mainstream American wrestling has been really good this year, so I can't complain too much.
Good on WWE to have that many matches in this list. Really shows how HHH(and the incredible producers) let their out of this world roster do their thing.
This year I decided to do 15 because there were so many great choices and it’s all wwe because I don’t watch aew or any other promotions
15. Charlotte vs Rhea ripley wrestlemania 39
14. Aj styles vs Seth Rollins night of champions
13. Mens money in the bank ladder match
12. Seth Rollins vs Logan Paul wrestlemania 39
11. Seth Rollins vs Finn balor summerslam
10. Sami zayn vs Roman reigns elimination chamber
9. Trish stratus vs Becky lynch payback
8. Mens elimination chamber
7. Bianca belair vs iyo sky backlash
6. The usos vs Owens and zayn wrestlemania
5. Dijak vs ilja dragunov Nxt battleground
4. Owens and zayn vs the judgment day payback
3. Carmelo Hayes vs ilja dragunov Nxt no mercy
2. Damian priest vs bad bunny backlash
1. Gunther vs sheamus vs drew McIntyre wrestlemania
Good luck on the flat purchase mate, all the luck to you
Adam: This might be the best multi-man tag match ever.
Tom Campbell: ARE YOU DISRESPECTING BRUCE HART!?!
Good for you adam
#1 was definitely a surprise lol but I feel you Adam
I still have 2019 men’s survivors series match as the best multi man match
Understood the Futurama reference at number 10 Adam is a man of taste
Oo 2 minute upload video. Nice
I think the only multi man tag team I’ve ever seen better than the Forbidden Door 10 man was the one with Undisputed Era and Imperium at Worlds Collide.
Gunther, is the best push and protected wrestler in the business today. Wins clean everytime, dominates, doesn't have a bad match, its what booking a full time Brock would be like.
Here’s mine and it’s all wwe because I don’t watch aew
10. Us championship elimination chamber match
9. Charlotte vs rhea ripley wrestlemania 39
8. Mens money in the bank ladder match
7. Kevin Owens and Sami zayn vs the usos wrestlemania 39
6. Seth Rollins vs aj styles night of champions
5. Roman reigns vs Sami zayn elimination chamber
4. Bianca bel air vs Iyo sky backlash
3. Ilja dragunov vs dijak nxt battleground
2. Drew McIntyre vs Gunther vs sheamus wrestlemania 39
1. Bad bunny vs Damien priest backlash
Edit I still loved seth rollins vs Logan Paul but upon further rewatch yeah this last man standing between dijak and dragunov was really good but ever since nxt stopped being black and gold it’s just been bleh so it’s nice to see dijak and dragunov came out with this gem
we're proud of ur whole journey adam cross your whole career from whatculture to now
Loved Okada vs D B.
Adam has clearly never seen the Canadian Stampede 5 on 5
I’ll be honest if Cody won at mania.. It would’ve been my favourite of the entire year
Not only would’ve it been a great night 2 but it potentially could’ve been one of the best Manias ever if only they had pulled the trigger on Rhodes :/
Depending on what they plan on doing next year might help how people remember WM39 who knows
1:58-2:18
There's that British humor again.
Crazy that this list comes out then legit the day before there’s another contender for top 10 match of the year in the Bloodline civil war
Where is the other half of this list
A list a list 🎉🎉🎉
When Adam gets to make a positive list every now and then it feels like a cup of refreshing water. Especially when we get several negative lists in a row. Anger gets views but if you act like that all the time it eventually gets tiresome.
2023 men's rumble honourable mention
Jey vs Roman at SS gonna be top 10 of year
And just like that I am rewatching Forbidden Door 2023 again for the third time. This is why we can't have nice things.
God I'm sorry. You enjoy your Flippy flips though.
