In fact this may be the only occasion if not a few that Anjaline's version has been aptly used to demonstrate the trait of the event.
Well, on Gamini, I believe he is one of the great actors we had who can portray many different characters in the spectrum. His popularity obviously rose from the commercially successful films in the 1970s. I consider Joe Abeywickrama and Henry Jayasena are among top. Thanks for your comment.

Dear Palitha,
In my view perhaps the best music from Dassanayake cropped up in 'Duhulu Malak'. Even Maestro Khemadasa would have noticed Dassa's performance there.
Especially 'Ran Kenden' track by Nanda Malini.

This is Angie's version ... I think Palitha or you gave us Jothi's version. I saw the movie at Quinlon Nugegoda on its first release in 73-74. This film was my first experience of Dassanayake's music.
