The firmness is the exact level that you need for a flawless and diffuse application with no effort. The face brush, no words for the craftsmanship, absolutely beautiful and the application, another hit from this brand. Amazing for finishing powders, bronzer application is targeted and diffused. Blush application is like airbrush, the highlighter application is soft and leaves like a veil of glow on the cheeks. just amazing.

I have Italian made paint brushes in that D shape that are just awesome! Can’t wait till repha does the D in eyeshadow brushes it will be a game changer
You do such a nice job describing how the brushes work. I think I need the eye set at least. I have 2 brushes I'm obsessed with but they're synthetic and I really need 2 brushes that can fill the hole that putting those away would do and this sounds like it would do it. I do love my rephr brushes, it's just I need to replace those TWO.
Your makeup is stunning today. Love that eye look. Can you tell me what is the best way to wash these brushes? Do I need to do anything special? I'm in the market for new brushes and your review convinced me to get these.
A gentle cleanser is all you need, baby shampoo if you want something nice and cheap or a solid brush soap in a tin should last you a really, really long time, I wash dozens of brushes monthly and one of the tins lasts me 2+ years. All you really need to know is since they are natural fibers you want to be gentle with them, so don't use scrubbing motions to clean them, but otherwise it's just like cleaning any old brush; just get them soapy and give them a good swirl until you can see all of the product is out of the brush, squeeze out excess water after rinsing, I use a clean dry cloth to help absorb the excess water while I squeeze them then reshape the bristles if necessary and lay flat to dry, if you have brush guards or a similar tool you can use them if you want but really there is nothing special about the washing process :)
I picked up the eye set. I want a nice face brush and this one is perfect, but I am hard on my brushes. Eventually, I'll get one of their limited brushes. Just the eye set for now.
I'm sure you'll love the eye set! And honestly there is never any rush to build a brush collection, there will be so many releases in the future, it's just best to buy when you're ready and grow your collection bit by bit xx
