Firstly: gorgeous performance. Well done to Pretty, the conductor and the orchestra. Secondly: what freaking microphone did they use to record this? What a terrible recording for a professional concert. I'm literally furious.
Sometimes i get sad when I see Pretty Yende doing A LOT of things such as lakme, le comte ory or even la traviata, in my vision she's meant to do THIS kind of role and not that very light soprano sound they insist on her
@@lucaraimondi7952 yes i agree with you, it should sound good on her voice, but when I listen and see her on the stage, and in this role she has a poor legato, no "strength" to complete the phrases and the high notes properly, i mean she struggles when does this La Traviata role. I admire her a lot but I must admit to myself there are things that are not working for her. And i'm sad because she should have more recognition for her precious voice.
